In this article, we celebrate the interconnected Management Learning traditions of provocation and reimagining academia by developing a literature review approach applying it to growing on doing differently. We argue that rebelling against oppressive neoliberal academic norms requires rethinking all aspects academia, including how literature. Can social services sustainably operate from a critical perspective that promotes justice? In the last four decades, shift toward market-based operation of has positioned management as central discipline in public field, binding work managers to neo-managerial objectives such measurability and economic efficiency professional practice. Together with tight resources, these conditions undermine justice-informed foundations work, forcing move between obedience resistance vis-à-vis neo-managerialism. However, explorations possibility constructing fundamental contextualized theory practice are absent literature. In this editorial, we discuss and define the “future of work” as a phenomenon research area, outline avenues for further at conceptual empirical level. We first offer brief review different streams that study future work, both in management organization studies adjacent fields. then elaborate on what see most promising organized around five questions what, when, who, how, why. Bibliyometrik analiz, performans göstergeleri bilimsel haritalama sonuçları olmak üzere iki temel yönteme dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Performans atıflar, ise ortak atıf, yazarlık ağlara oluşturulmuştur. Self-employment accounts for a significant share of income-producing work but the ‘sociology self-employment’ remains embryonic. This article argues that, to date, sociologists have viewed self-employment through discrete lenses, rooted in different intellectual traditions. A novel typology is developed that conceptually maps extant analyses, revealing variety ways these lenses portray relationship capitalism. The identified are: (1) as residual; (2) dynamic; (3) hyper-exploitation; (4) mundane; and (5) ideology. suggests empirical complexity phenomenon underpins this multiplicity sociological conceptualisations. both driver residuum capitalist development; self-employed labour potential (or at least putative) enterprise absence waged-labour.
