Studies show a relationship between social appearance anxiety, aggression, and behavioral addictions. However, the smartphone addiction, Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) has not been investigated. The present study used self-report survey to examine structural relationships IGD. sample comprised 383 Turkish undergraduate students (50.9% male; 49.1% female), all of who played online videogames. demographic information questions Social Appearance Anxiety Scale, Buss-Perry Aggression Smartphone Addiction Scale-Short Form. scales were examined utilizing equation modeling. findings showed that anxiety (β=.583) addiction (β=.319) had direct effect on Additionally, partially mediated association aggression IGD (β=.125). Abstract Individual and multiple games played on the Internet are seen as a popular leisure activity, which is becoming increasingly common among young people. With Covid 19 pandemic, interest in has increased because people spend more time at home. This led to an increase gaming disorder, recognized by American Psychiatric Association World Health Organization.
