The global population is predicted to reach 9.3 billion by 2050, increasing food production substantially and posing significant security risks, particularly for low-income countries. widening gap necessitates innovative, sustainable solutions. In response, promoting edible insects as a viable source gained momentum, addressing malnutrition insecurity. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one the world's largest countries, has many insects. As result its unique challenges, Arabia explores vital enhancing security, such Crickets, Mealworms, Black Soldier Flies, Buffalo's, Grasshoppers, Ants, Silkworms, Cicadas. Kingdom's commitment Vision 2030, focusing on development, underscores importance incorporating into agricultural processes manufacturing. Despite promising nutritional benefits, challenges potential toxicity, pesticide residues, heavy metals, allergic reactions require careful consideration. Collaborative efforts involving public private sectors, universities, large-scale breeding laboratories are essential realize full This review article delves value insect orders found in Kingdom, examining protein, lipid, carbohydrate, nucleic acid, mineral, vitamin content. emphasizes need extensive research understand composition diverse species Arabia.

Exogenous amino acid supplementation has become a nutritional strategy to improve the tolerance of whiteleg shrimp ( Litopenaeus vannamei ) high proportion vegetable protein diets. In present study, effects glycine in high‐proportion fermented soybean meal (FSBM) feed for were verified. SBM by Bacillus subtilis was used replace 50%, 75%, and 100% fish (FM), respectively. Concomitantly, 1% added diets containing FSBM. After an 8‐week feeding trial, FSBM substitution significantly inhibited growth parameters shrimp, including weight gain rate (WGR) specific (SGR). Glycine alleviated inhibition performance induced 50% but not 75% groups. increased level muscle. addition, improved structure hepatopancreas length sarcomeres myofiber density muscle tissue. RT‐qPCR results revealed that mRNA expression smyhc1 smyhc2 . Further investigation enhanced antioxidant capacity tissue immune genes, traf6 , toll lgbp caused substitution. summary, indicated appropriate could ensure FM did affect shrimp. Moreover, may enhancing immunity. This study further emphasized crucial role development low

Water quality early warning is a key aspect in industrial recirculating aquaculture systems for high-density shrimp farming. The concentrations of ammonia nitrogen and nitrite the water significantly impact cultured animals are challenging to measure real-time, posing substantial challenge technology. This study aims collect data samples using low-cost sensors during process construct predictive values nitrite, which difficult obtain through environment, prediction techniques. employs various machine learning algorithms, including General Regression Neural Network (GRNN), Deep Belief (DBN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Support Vector Machine (SVM), build models nitrite. accuracy determined by comparing predicted with actual values, performance evaluated Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Percentage (MAPE), Root Square (RMSE) metrics. Ultimately, optimized GRNN-based model concentration (MAE = 0.5915, MAPE 28.95%, RMSE 0.7765) 0.1191, 29.65%, 0.1904) were selected. can be integrated into an Internet Things system analyze changes over time management routine conditions, thereby achieving application environment

The present study was designed to assess the influence of fishmeal replacement with increasing percentages fresh seafood discards (0, 25, 50 and 75%) in diets for Penaeus japonicus on growth performance, physical characteristics chemical fatty acid composition shrimp flesh. Each diet administered 108 days, trial assayed triplicate. final body weight specific rate were significantly higher (p < 0.05) shrimps fed 75% as compared 25%, while abdomen total length highest 0.01). Moreover, showed a lower value hardness greater crude protein lipid content 0% replacement. high levels (50 saturated concentration and, turn, amount polyunsaturated acids meat affected atherogenic thrombogenic indices. In conclusion, replacing provided satisfactory results. An economic analysis based ESG indicators PESTLE methodology is order show socio-economic governance impacts affecting shrimps’ fish discard.

Introduction Screening excellent bacterial strains for fermentation is the key to improving nutritional value and bioavailability of soybean meal (SBM). This study investigated application Bacillus subtilis -fermented (FSBM) on feed Pacific white shrimp ( Litopenaeus vannamei ). Methods FSBM was used replace 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% fish meal, feeding trial lasted 8 weeks (initial weight: 0.9 g). Results discussion The amino acid profile in whole body tested. substitution only significantly reduced content lysine body, but increased arginine. Fatty data showed that n-6 PUFAs by substitution. In muscle, MUFAs, including C18:3n-3, C18:2n-6 C20:4n-6. No hepatopancreas structure modifications appeared 25% group compared with control group. Subsequently, we response patterns different organs from antioxidant, endoplasmic reticulum stress immunity. A high proportion GSH hemolymph hepatopancreas, while mRNA expression cat . did not affect activities antioxidant enzymes intestine. However, level hsp70 intestine FSBM. terms immunity, levels lgbp penaeidin a significant linear increase trend. imd immune genes stress, eif2α hepatopancreas. inhibited bip intestine, replacing 75% ire1 summary, this indicated when account 40% diets (dry weight), screened -FSBM can protein without reducing abilities shrimp.
