Abstract Background Acanthosis nigricans (AN) is a common skin disease characterized by clear pigmented patches on the folds of skin. However, AN research field lacks scientific and comprehensive bibliometric analysis. This article aims to use methods summarize visualize distribution patterns, hotspots, development trends literature. Methods Literature from 1900 2024 was retrieved Web Science Core Collection database through AN's thematic search. Using CiteSpace, VOSviewer, Excel 2019, conduct analysis number publications, countries/regions, institutions, authors, journals, highly cited literature, keywords, so on, sort out hotspots directions AN. Results From 2024, 1675 publications were included in analysis, showing steady annual increase publications. The United States leads this field, with University Texas System being key institution. Journal Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism has highest published papers. most “Syndromes Insulin Resistance Nigricans: Insulin‐Receptor Disorders Man” (1976). author Taylor, SI, “Acanthosis nigricans” frequently occurring keyword. main frontier areas are as follows: (1) relationship between other diseases popular topic; (2) connection insulin resistance (IR) current focus; (3) Treatment AN, an emphasis addressing underlying causes improving local conditions, represents cutting edge field. Hand herpes zoster (HHZ) is a very rare skin disease in clinical practice. Due to the lack of specificity its early manifestations, HHZ easily misdiagnosed as hand eczema or other lesions. Herein, we present case with atypical HHZ. A 25-year-old woman experienced left palm pain accompanied by upper limb stabbing pain, general weakness, and low-grade fever after staying up late. At first, she was diagnosed peripheral nerve compression eczema, received relevant symptomatic treatment, but her condition did not improve. Diagnosed on biopsy, treated thread fragrant moxibustion (TFM). The diagnosis established based appearance dermatological findings eventually. intervention project TFM treatment once day acupuncture department, whole period lasted for 10 days. After 3 more treatments were given, burning sensation itching palms well pulsatility finger blood vessels had significantly reduction, visual analog scale scores decreased. treatments, patient's gradually falls off, revealing pink new without any discomfort. The aim of this study is to examine the scientific research literature on international trade and environment through bibliometric analysis. Through bibliometric analysis, trends in international acupuncture clinical development, key research areas, and current scientific issues were identified based on literature published from 2013 to 2022. Literature settings was retrieved analyzed this study utilizing the Web of Science database. A visualization analysis landscape performed using CiteSpace, VOSviewer, GraphPad Prism. General statistics regarding examined, encompassing annual publication trends, citation frequencies, journal distributions, distributions across subject fields. Co-occurrence cluster analyses authors, countries, institutions, high-quality literature, keywords explore developmental hotspots, frontiers comprehensively intuitively. total 4554 studies included, with an increasing trend number publications related Scientific Citation Index (SCI). The impact factors top 10 journals mostly 1 3 points. most cited articles primarily concentrated use for pain-related disorders. Acupuncture electroacupuncture are dominant keywords, terms such as “ischemic stroke” “Alzheimer’s disease” emerging 2019 From 2022, output SCI increased, gradually gained recognition, China moved toward a position. significant area is its application analgesia, particularly through electroacupuncture. Future directions may include treatment knee osteoarthritis, cognitive disorders, assisted reproduction acupuncture.

Abstract Background Seborrheic dermatitis (SD) is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease. In recent years, significant progress has been made in the field of SD, but there no bibliometric research yet.
