Next-generation
sequencing
technology
can
now
be
used
to
sequence
historical
specimens
from
natural
history
collections,
an
approach
referred
as
museomics.
The
museomics
allows
obtaining
molecular
data
old
museum-preserved
specimens,
a
resource
of
biomolecules
largely
underexploited
despite
the
fact
that
these
are
often
unique
samples
nomenclatural
types
crucial
for
resolving
scientific
questions.
Despite
recent
technical
progress,
cricket
mitogenomes
still
scarce
in
databases,
with
only
handful
new
ones
generated
each
year
freshly
collected
material.

Abstract
Mitochondrial
genomes
have
been
widely
used
for
phylogenetic
reconstruction
and
evolutionary
analysis
in
various
groups
of
Insecta.
Gene
rearrangements

mitogenome

aquatic

mitogenomes

A
large
proportion
of
the
insects
which
have
invaded
new
regions
and
countries
are
emerging
species,
being
found
for
first
time
outside
their
native
range.
Being
able
to
detect
such
species
upon
arrival
at
ports
entry
before
they
establish
in
non-native

an
urgent
challenge.
The
deployment

Despite

advancement

faunal
research
longhorned
beetles
in
South
Korea,
number
tribes
Cerambycinae
has
remained
at
16
during
last
40
years.In
this
paper,
two
cerambycine
tribes,
Stenopterini
Gistel,
1848
and
Thraniini
Gahan,
1906,
are
reported
for
first
time
Korea
by
species
Merionoeda
(Macromolorchus)
hirsuta
(Mitono
&
Nishimura,
1936)
Thraniusvariegatus
Bates,
1873,
respectively.

Abstract
Longhorned
beetles
(Cerambycidae)
are
the
most
diverse
group
of
predominantly
wood‐feeding
(xylophagous)
insects
on
Earth.
Larvae
species
feed
within
tissues
plants
made
up
large
amounts
plant
cell
wall
(PCW),
which
is
notoriously
difficult
to
digest.
To
efficiently
access
nutrients
from
their
food
source,
cerambycid
larvae
have
deconstruct
PCW
polysaccharides
–
such
as
cellulose,
hemicelluloses
and
pectin
requiring
them
possess
a
diversity
degrading
enzymes
(PCWDEs)
in
digestive
tract.
Genomic
data
for
Cerambycidae
mostly
limited
notorious
forest
pests
lacking
taxonomic
groups.
Consequently,
our
understanding
distribution
evolution
PCWDEs
quite
limited.
We
addressed
numbers,
kinds
by
surveying
larval
midgut
transcriptomes
23
representing
six
eight
recognized
subfamilies
each
with
very
host
types
(i.e.,
gymnosperms,
angiosperms,
xylem,
phloem,
fresh
or
dead
tissues).
Using
these
data,
we
identified
340
new
putative
belonging
ten
carbohydrate
active
enzyme
families,
including
two
gene
families
(GH7
GH53)
not
previously
reported
insects.
The
remarkably
wide
range
expressed
should
allow
break
down
polysaccharides.
Moreover,
observed
encoded
genomes
agreed
more
phylogenetic
relationship
studied

origin

tissues.

Ichneumonidae
is
one
of
the
largest
families
insects
with
a
mega-diversity
specialized
morphological
and
biological
characteristics.
We
newly
sequenced
92
mitochondrial
genomes
ichneumonid
wasps
found
that
they
have
conserved
base
composition
lower
evolutionary
rate
than
other
parasitic
Hymenoptera.
There
are
38
types
gene
order
in
genome,
30
novel
identified
104
ichneumonids.

Furthermore,
higher
their
relative
lineages

respectively.
The
results
will
improve
our
understanding
diversity
evolution
Ichneumonidae.
Lamiinae
is
the
largest
subfamily
of
Cerambycidae
(longhorn
beetles),
with
approximately
21,863
described
species.
Previous
phylogenetic
studies
showed
that
this
was
monophyletic,
but
relationship
between
tribes
still
controversial.
Partial
molecular
data
and
species
morphological
characteristics
are
not
sufficient
to
resolve
perfectly.
At
same
time,
full
mitochondrial
genome
contains
more
comprehensive
genetic
data.
Benefiting
from
development
next-generation
sequencing
(NGS),
genomes
can
be
easily
acquired
used
as
reliable
markers
investigate
relationships
within
Cerambycidae.
Using
NGS
technology,
we
obtained
11
sequences
Based
on
newly
generated
dataset
matrix,
reconstructed
phylogeny
Lamiinae.
The
Bayesian
Inference
Maximum
Likelihood
analyses
strongly
support
monophyly
four
(Lamiini,
Batocerini,
Mesosini,
Saperdini),
whereas
tribe
Acanthocinini
identified
paraphyletic.
Other
structural
features
were
also
observed:
