Abstract Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is associated with self‐reported difficulties navigating the social and physical world may also be risk of functional limitations. Psychological trauma has implications for many aspects of physical health, including preventive health behaviours (PHBs). However, whether exposure additionally contributes to PHBs above and beyond the effects posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms remains unclear. In this systematic review, 32 studies were analysed characterise: (1) relationships between PHBs, (2) PTSD (3) unique associations independent symptoms, (4) exposure. Background: Refugees with prolonged and repeated experiences of trauma, often in combination post-migration living difficulties, are subjected to severe levels stress stress-related ill health, including post-traumatic disorder (PTSD). Social media may be a potential platform for group-based physical interventions. Abstract Background Forced migrant populations have high rates of trauma-related ill health, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Physical activity (PA) is well-established as an effective reliever, while insufficient PA associated with adverse effects on both mental and physical health. The aim this study was to examine the prevalence different levels its association PTSD symptom severity, controlled for exposure torture, among asylum seekers in Sweden. Methods A cross-sectional survey study, data from 455 seekers, originating Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, Somalia, Syria, residing at large housing facilities across Level assessed by Exercise Vital Sign categorized as; Inactive, Insufficient PA, Sufficient PA.
