Digital Economy, Agricultural Technological Progress, and Agricultural Carbon Intensity: Evidence from China

China is the largest carbon emitter in world, with agricultural emissions accounting for 17% of China’s total emissions. Agricultural emission reduction has become key to achieving “Double Carbon” goal. At same time, role digital economy “dual carbon” goal cannot be ignored as an important engine boost high-quality development economy. Therefore, this paper uses panel data 30 provinces mainland from 2011 2019 construct a spatial Durbin model and mediation effect explore impact on intensity mediating technological progress.
