Abstract The combination of palladium and silver complexes has emerged as a bimetallic catalytic system in C−H activation, frequently outperforming palladium‐only systems. Beyond the conventional roles (I) salts serving oxidants, halide scavengers, Lewis acids, Pd−Ag synergism been shown to facilitate cleavage. In this study, we explore incorporation pyrazolopyridone (PzPyOH) ligand into system, which together promote both cleavage migratory insertion processes. This synergistic approach enables dehydrogenative alkenylations at C4 position 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole, 2,1,3‐benzoxadiazole, 2,1,3‐benzotriazole with alkenes. These results demonstrate potential combining novel ligands heterobimetallic systems other elementary steps beyond cleavage, suggesting their broader applicability functionalization.

The oxidant-controlled divergent synthesis of C-2' formyl 2H-indazoles and indazoloindazolediones has been developed through Mn(I)- catalyzed ortho C-H functionalization with para-formaldehyde to afford hydroxymethylated subsequently oxidation varying the amount DDQ in one-pot. By employing selectfluor as oxidant instead DDQ, this reaction exclusively provided indazolebenzoxazine derivatives. This strategy delivered unsymmetrical indazoloindazoledione indazolobenzoxazine varied functional group tolerance moderate good yields.

Abstract γ‐methylene C(sp 3 )−H functionalization of linear free carboxylic acids remains a significant challenge. Here in we report Pd(II)‐catalyzed tandem γ‐arylation and γ‐lactonization aliphatic enabled by L,X‐type CarboxPyridone ligand. A wide range γ‐arylated γ‐lactones are synthesized single step from moderate to good yield. Arylated lactones can readily be converted into disubstituted tetrahydrofurans, prominent scaffold amongst bioactive molecules.
