ABSTRACT
Expansion
of
our
knowledge
the
microbial
world
continues
to
progress
at
a
rapid
rate
and
carries
with
it
an
associated
need
for
recognizing
understanding
implications
those
changes.
Here,
we
describe
additions
novel
taxa
from
domestic
animals
published
in
2022
that
are
validly
per
International
Code
Nomenclature
Prokaryotes.
These
included
new
members
Staphylococcaceae
,
Moraxella
nasovis
sp.
nov.
sheep
respiratory
disease,
three
Campylobacteraceae
(including
one
chickens
spotty
liver
disease),
multiple
organisms
microbiota
dogs,
pigs,
especially
honeybees
other
important
pollinators.
Noteworthy
were
diseases
cattle,
including
mastitis,
endocarditis,
orchitis,
endometritis.
Also
described
was
Pseudochrobactrum
algeriense
nov.,
member
Brucellaceae
family,
isolated
mammary
lymph
nodes
cows.

The
effect
of
metals
on
freshwater
microbiomes
is
poorly
understood
compared
to
other
factors,
such
as
nutrients
or
climate.

deleterious
effects
