Introduction

Tackling
climate
change
requires
significant
behavior
to
reduce
emissions,

Climate
change
is
an
ongoing
and
escalating
health
emergency.
It
threatens
the
wellbeing
of
billions
people,
through
extreme
weather
events,
displacement,
food
insecurity,
pathogenic
diseases,
societal
destabilisation,
armed
conflict.

challenges

by
psychologists.
The
greenhouse
gas
emissions
driving
climate
disproportionately

from
actions
wealthy
populations

Global
North

excessive
energy
use
overconsumption

pursuit

Addressing

crisis
requires
significant
transformations

changes
