Background: Anxiety is an emotional state that opposes the possibility of encountering potentially unpleasant future circumstances. Objective: To assess level anxiety among newly enrolled undergraduate female nursing students. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted at a public institute in Karachi, Pakistan from January to April 2024. The sample size 225, calculated by using Open Epi with 95% confidence interval. convenient sampling technique used. All students were included while other classes’ excluded study. 20 item Spielberger State Inventory questionnaire used anxiety. Approval obtained concerned institute. Written consents taken participants, background and well explained participants. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 26 data analysis. Results: high (83.6%) participating students, (13.8%) observed moderate only (2.7%) recorded no or low There statistically significant difference found between mean scores father’s occupation education level. Background Cell phone addiction presents a widespread and severe physical mental health concern, now recognized as global public issue. Among medical college students, the issue of poor sleep quality has become particularly prevalent. This study aimed to investigate relationship between cell disturbance in population exploring potential mediating role psychological resilience moderating impact gender.
