Abstract The new avatars and bots modeled after humans, the large language models (LLMs) with a “persona,” seemingly autonomously acting robots raise question of whether AI technologies can also possess personhood or at least be part our personhood. Do we extend through living death in digital realm? This article explores application moral concept to technologies. It presents twofold thesis: first, it illustrates, various examples, how is being disrupted context Second, discusses potential evolution argues for abandoning ethics, based on reasons such as its vagueness, harmful discriminatory character, disconnection from society. Finally, outlines future perspectives approaches moving forward, emphasizing need conceptual justice concepts.

Abstract One characteristic of socially disruptive technologies is that they have the potential to cause uncertainty about application conditions a concept i.e., are conceptually disruptive. Humanoid robots done just this, as evidenced by discussions whether, and under what conditions, humanoid could be classified as, for example, moral agents, patients, or legal and/or persons. This paper frames effect differently taking discussion beyond classificatory concerns. It does so showing because also transform how we experience understand world. Through inviting us relate technological artefact if it human, profound impact upon way in which different elements our Specifically, I focus on three types human relational experiences, norms surround them may transformed robots: (1) human-technology relations; (2) human-human (3) human-self relations. Abstract Recent scholarship on technology-induced ‘conceptual disruption’ has spotlighted the notion of a conceptual gap. Conceptual gaps have also been discussed in epistemic injustice, yet up until now these bodies work remained disconnected. This article shows that ‘gaps’ interest to both literature are closely related, and argues joint examination disruption injustice is fruitful for fields. I argue hermeneutical marginalization—a skewed division resources, which serves diminish experiences marginalized folk—does not only transpire because gaps, but two other kinds disruption: overlaps misalignments. Hence, there multiple can be usefully studied through normative lens injustice. Technology play different roles vis-a-vis injustices, as causal trigger disruption, mediator resources. Its role normatively significant, particular socially disruptive technologies implications groups: they may amplify resources some groups, while diminishing those others.
