Academic stress may be the single most dominant factor that affects mental well-being of college students. Some groups students experience more than others, and coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) pandemic could further complicate response. We surveyed 843 evaluated whether academic levels affected their health, if so, there were specific vulnerable by gender, race/ethnicity, year study, reaction to pandemic. Using a combination scores from Perception Stress Scale (PAS) Short Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-Being (SWEMWBS), we found significant correlation between worse poor in all students, who also reported an exacerbation response In addition, SWEMWBS revealed lowest health highest non-binary individuals, opposite trend was observed for both measures men. Furthermore, women higher men, as indicated PAS scores. The same pattern held COVID-19-related stress. responses varied but no obvious patterns emerged. Abstract Resilience has been found to have positive impacts on college students’ well-being and mental health. However, we still lack knowledge how under what conditions resilience can help facilitate academic performance. University students confront a wide range of issues during their pursuit education. Understanding these is essential for developing effective treatments and support systems. This study aims to delineate the landscape scholarly literature pertaining psychosocial, academic, psychological among university students. It further identifies key journals publishing trends within fields, thereby significantly contributing this domain. Additionally, outlines scientific field networks that offer theoretical conceptual foundations exploring challenges faced by Furthermore, it also intends systematically categorise various types problems encountered in India. To gather investigate higher education, utilises bibliometric analysis, highlighting topics related mental health. Data were extracted from Scopus Web Sciences databases. The analysis yielded 12 overarching categories students: stress, academic depression, anxiety, internet/ smartphone addiction/ gaming disorder, low self-esteem, loneliness, insomnia, suicidal ideations, eating disorders, drug addiction, adjustment issues. The psychological impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic have substantially changed and this requires a new measurement tool reflecting these changes. Impact Scale (CIS) assesses stress responses to pandemic. This study, for first time, examined psychometric properties Turkish version CIS in university students by focusing on its internal consistency reliability, factor structure, criterion validity predictive validity. Using cross-sectional research design, data were collected from 486 studying at public Turkey. Participants completed Kessler Psychological Distress Scale-6 using an online survey. results showed that had excellent reliability. Results exploratory confirmatory yielded one-factor solution scale with high loadings. Also, was not only significantly positively correlated distress but also accounted significant amount unique variance prediction after controlling effects age gender.
