The five traits extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism openness experience& their level of life satisfaction and self-compassion will differ another, as every is different another. study aims examine the relationship between in traits.The was conducted 60 early adulthood aged 20-30 years. Standardized scales were used research. results found no significant Life &self-compassion. However,self-compassion total significantly positively correlated with Agreeableness neuroticism. Self-compassion needs be practiced along all traits.

Academic motivation is an important construct for university students, associated with student wellbeing and academic performance. Students who are motivated tend to feel perform well. Self-compassion, that kindness understanding towards oneself in difficult times, resilience, ability bounce back from difficulties, also achievement. However, how these variables related each other has not been evaluated Indonesian students. higher education rapidly developed, focusing on achievement while their suffers. Understanding linked self-compassion resilience can inform effective way augment motivation. Accordingly, this cross-sectional study the relationship among three variables. Abstract This chapter presents the history, cultural background, mental health challenges, and experiences of racial discrimination among Korean Americans. Among various Asian groups in United States, American comprise fifth largest subgroup. Americans are likely to have higher educational attainment socioeconomic status than general US population other immigrant groups. Did Relationship Quality During the COVID-19 Pandemic Vary Across Cultural Contexts? DOI Open Access

We examined whether the impact of pandemic on couple relationships varied across cultural contexts. Following from studies showing better outcomes (lower disease risk, greater well-being) within cultures higher in tightness (having strong norms promoting conformity) or collectivism (vs. individualism), we predicted that tighter and more collectivistic contexts would be associated with relationship functioning. Purpose The current study aims to examine the relationship between self-compassion and life satisfaction in Vietnamese adolescents investigate possibility that emotional behavioural problems mediate this relationship. Design/methodology/approach Quantitative means of data collection analysis were used underlying mechanism A set questionnaires was presented a sample 828 (M age = 14.61; SD 1.08) aged 14–17 years from two secondary schools high Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam. This helped determine their (self-compassion scale), (strengths difficulties questionnaire) (life scale). Instruments reflected satisfactory reliability validity. Findings results show self-warmth positively associated with self-coldness negatively adolescents. Emotional fully mediated negative satisfaction. Practical implications It is implied intervention programmes should be tailored both promote self-compassionate behaviours reduce self-coldness, increase Originality/value research available on adolescents, especially Southeast Asia, very sparse.
