Introduction The positive development of the personal belief in a just world (PBJW) plays vital role academic achievement and mental health among children adolescents. Therefore, it is necessary to understand influencing factors PBJW better. association between parenting styles has been well established, but whether this varies different groups remains an open issue. present study aimed examine strength associations Chinese adolescents certain moderators (gender, living location, age) these associations. Methods This employed hierarchical regression simple slopes analyses data from National Children's Study China. database includes 24,013 grades 49 ( M = 12.76 years, SD 1.73), with 53.50% boys. This study aimed to identify facilitators and barriers parent-child communication in pediatric palliative care, providing insights for medical professionals developing targeted interventions enhance improve its effectiveness. Whittemore Knafl's integrative review method was employed guide a systematic search literature six databases (Medline, Embase, CINAHL Complete, PsycINFO, Web of Science, Cochrane Library). Peer-reviewer articles published the English language from inception December 2023. All identified studies were screened, extracted, analyzed independently by two researchers. Twenty-four included. The findings relevant using thematic analysis. Four themes as facilitators: legacy-making, resilience training programs, guidance healthcare team, positive communication. Seven barriers: denial, being unprepared evasive, mutual protection, overwhelmed painful emotions overloaded with information, incorrect views parents, negative communication, cultural context. Parents should avoid myths about protecting child encourage open that respects child's wishes. specialized care team carefully monitor determine if any obstacles exist, design more it.

Abstract Purpose To explore and describe the experiences of childhood leukemia survivors in transition from home to school following cancer treatment. Methods Study participants include 16 who visited a hospital for follow-up care treatment at university Wenzhou. We conducted an in-depth, semi-structured interviews with participants. The interview data were analyzed according thematic analysis method. Results extracted 5 themes interviews: (a) Being on right track school, (b) Perceived personal happiness, (c) Discovering gap others, (d) Feelings being excessive care, (e) Concerns about returning school. Five main suggest that return hallmarked beginning new life experience environment. Participants reported having different feelings after On one hand, happiness is enhanced, other individuals need face up practical problems encountered Conclusions Childhood can seek self-worth identity but also friendship, learning physical difficulties. Medical staff should pay more attention this group give them enough support better adapt campus life.

Purpose To explore the relationship between parenting styles and self-concept, emotional intelligence, subjective well-being among primary school students. Methods In total, 1,683 students from 10 schools in Hangzhou, China, were surveyed using a simple random sampling method. Participants completed Parenting Style Scale, Self-Concept Emotional Intelligence Subjective Well-Being Scale. Results (1) Father’s mother’s warmth was significantly positively correlated with students’ ( r = 0.513, p < 0.01 0.478, 0.01, respectively). rejection negatively −0.257, −0.285, overprotection −0.178, 0.01; −0.227, 0.01). (2) Self-concept intelligence acted as chain mediators father’s (0.337, 0.477 0.366, 0.520, (−0.590, −0.377 −0.693, −0.460, chain-mediated (−0.380, −0.224 −0.413, −0.264 Conclusion can affect student’s both directly through mediating effects. partially mediate impact of styles, fully overprotective on well-being.
