Introduction. LGBTQIA+ individuals face disproportionately high levels of mental health challenges, exacerbated by discrimination, stigma, and inadequate care from untrained professionals. Despite evolving societal attitudes, barriers to accessing persist, mainly due professionals’ lack formal training in affirmative care.
