Results included 32 studies, which majority focused on depression. Our found most show at baseline subsequent The few anxiety self-harm also showed positive association. pooled adjusted odds ratio 2.33 (95% CI 1.62–3.34) for risk depression adults who were often lonely compared people lonely. This should be interpreted caution given heterogeneity. Conclusion public issue. growing common problems. Future explore its impact across age range more diverse populations, look beyond mechanisms involved view better informing appropriate interventions.
