Despite current standard treatments, persons with Parkinson disease (PD) still experience motor and non-motor symptoms that impact daily function quality of life, warranting the investigation additional interventions. Holistic complementary interventions such as yoga have been shown to be beneficial for PD. However, there are multiple barriers in-person transportation difficulties disease-related mobility impairments which may mitigated by digital health applications. Therefore, this study's purpose was assess safety feasibility a synchronous tele-yoga intervention PD.Sixteen participants were enrolled in single group trial. The entire study conducted remotely consisted baseline assessment followed six-week waiting period, then second assessment, post-intervention follow-up lastly assessment. During completed two one-on-one 30-minute sessions weekly total 12 sessions. Primary outcomes included adverse events, adherence, technological challenges, usability. Secondary enjoyment clinically relevant outcome measures assessing both symptoms. No severe events attributed intervention. Retention 87.5%, session adherence 100%, 97%. The past decade has seen rapid digitalization of healthcare, significantly transforming healthcare delivery. However, the impact these technologies remains unclear, with notable gaps in evidence regarding their effectiveness, especially primary care settings. This systematic review assesses effectiveness digital health interventions versus without components implemented over last 10 years European settings for managing chronic diseases. Following Cochrane guidelines, we conducted a meta-analysis. We searched multiple databases randomized controlled trials. Inclusion criteria encompassed studies on disease management Europe, evaluating outcomes such as hospitalizations, quality life, and clinical measures. Data extraction assessment were independently by two authors, discrepancies resolved third author. certainty was judged according to Grading Recommendations, Assessment, Development, Evaluation approach. From 9829 records, 23 included, most UK Spain. investigated conditions type 2 diabetes hypertension. Interventions mainly focused patient monitoring, self-care education, communication tools. risk bias low moderate studies. Meta-analyses showed no significant differences between usual depressive symptoms, anxiety, HbA1c, diastolic blood pressure, weight, or except small improvement systolic pressure. Digital have not yet demonstrated substantial benefits traditional care. While some improvements noted, particularly limited. Abstract Background With healthcare undergoing rapid digitalization, the effective integration of new technologies is crucial for nursing professionals, who form largest group in workforce. However, barriers within profession may impede digitalization efforts, leading to under utilization available and missed opportunities enhancing quality population health. Aims This article aims investigate adoption use digital by nurses, considering how key demographics, such as gender, age, voluntariness technology use, interact influence their acceptance these technologies. Methods Employing Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology (UTAUT) a framework, we conducted discursive exploration, supplemented literature review from diverse academic sources. Keywords related UTAUT, practice were searched on PubMed, CINAHL Google Scholar. Additionally, UK government professional regulator reports examined understand current recommendations concerning profession's demography. Searches focused moderating factor domains, last search was 26 April 2023. Results The study revealed that successful implementation requires nuanced understanding workforce's characteristics preferences. Gender, age found intersect nurses' tools. Discussion By applying UTAUT context nursing, this highlights importance tailored strategies A technologically deterministic perspective insufficient; instead, consideration social factors specific essential adoption. Conclusion To maximize benefits healthcare, it imperative address faced professionals. comprehensive demographics impact will inform targeted strategies, engagement nurses with tools fostering innovation practices. Further research primary data are needed, but lays foundation future advancements Relevance Clinical Practice issues highlighted relevant nurse leaders those responsible implementing contexts. They also developers benefit evidence associated demographic article. Without holistic approach technology, challenges likely persist. Background Various studies propose the significance of digital maturity in ensuring effective patient care and enabling improved health outcomes, a successful transformation, optimized service delivery. Although previous research has centered around inpatient settings, on general practices is still its infancy. Objective As practitioners (GPs) are first point contact for most patients, we aimed to shed light pivotal role GPs’ inherent characteristics, especially their personality, practices. Methods In step, applied sequential mixed methods approach involving literature review expert interviews with GPs construct scale used this study. Next, designed web-based survey assess 5-point Likert-type analyze relationship relevant characteristics using ANOVAs regression analysis. Results Our 219 revealed that was overall moderate (mean 3.31, SD 0.64) substantially associated several GP. We found differences based gender, expected future use solutions, perceived affinity medical assistants, level affinity, extraversion neuroticism. model, higher use, GPs, lower neuroticism were substantial predictors maturity. Conclusions study highlights impact By identifying these influencing factors, our findings support targeted approaches drive practice settings.
