BACKGROUND Health education and promotion are recognized as effective strategies for fostering healthy ageing, reducing the disease burden, addressing health inequalities, particularly when delivered through digital media. Primary care workers often regarded key providers of these interventions. Despite strong practical significance substantial individual demand, use media delivering practices was not widespread in China. One main challenges identified is providers’ inadequate capacities. However, little known about capacity among primary workers. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to investigate levels its associated factors community METHODS A total 1346 were recruited from across 47 communities Shanghai, China, cluster-stratified random sampling. The measured using revised version Digital Capabilities Framework. Web-based questionnaires distributed collect data March 20 29, 2024. Data analyzed descriptive statistics, independent t tests, one-way ANOVA, linear hierarchical regression Stata MP (version 17.0; StataCorp). RESULTS We included 1199 participants. Among them, 47.5% (570/1199) had high more than 19.6 hours per week, whereas 31.8% (381/1199) demonstrated trust. average level 16.71 (SD 2.94) out 25 points. Demographics, usage–related characteristics, perceived usefulness usability, attitudes, behaviors significant predictors capacities, explaining 44.4% variance. Master’s degree or above (β=.077; P=.013), usability (β=.235; P<.001), attitudes toward (β=.095; P=.002), past (β=.377; P<.001) significantly positive associations with capacities promotion. senior (β=–.076; P=.008) median (β=–.074; P=.01) titles a negative association levels. Objective Although smart senior care services offer numerous benefits, they have not yet gained widespread acceptance among the general populace, particularly seniors. Numerous related issues surfaced, with structural imbalance between supply and demand being most prominent. Currently, there is a lack of research distinguishing various categories for ageing associated behaviors older individuals. In this study, we aimed to identify types utilization Chinese adults understand their diverse characteristics factors that facilitate certain behaviors. We also analyzed explored influencing it, thereby providing reference optimizing services. Methods conducted cross-sectional study from January March 2023 1037 valid questionnaires. Three were investigated: intelligent information, consultation, monitoring. identified demand, utilization, these Latent class analysis (LCA) was used differentiate heterogeneity in terms service utilization. Factors preferences using binary logistic regression based on Andersen's behavioral model. Results Based LCA findings, divided into two categories: positive (desire use services) or negative taking action The persons high but low comprised largest number people (69.35%). results indicated children (odds ratio (OR) = 1.491), community-provided devices (OR 1.700), chronic diseases 1.218), self-care capacity 0.214) are demand. In fully-adjusted model, associated lower adults (OR = 0.71, 95%CI: 0.52–0.96). Subgroup analysis revealed this ( P for interaction <0.05). Specifically, female group showed no significant 0.92, 95% 0.59–1.44); however, male demonstrated robust 0.58, 0.37–0.90). Conclusions Older which appears differ sex. men but not women.
