Abstract Background Health and care workers (HCW) faced the double burden of SARS-CoV-2 pandemic: as members a society affected by public health emergency HWC who experienced fear becoming infected infecting others, stigma, violence, increased workloads, changes in scope practice, among others. Background: Staffing shortages across the healthcare sector pose a threat to continuity of Canadian system in post-COVID-19 pandemic era. We sought understand factors associated with turnover intention as well providers’ (HCPs) perspectives and experiences related both organizational professional turnover. Abstract Purpose of Review Healthcare workers (HCWs) may be exposed to potentially morally injurious events (PMIEs) while on the job and consequently experience acute, functional moral distress prolonged, impairing injury. Recent Findings We reviewed 185 articles and/or injury among HCWs. This included 91 empirical studies (approximately 50% retained articles), 68 editorials (37%), 18 reviews (10%), 8 protocol papers (4%). Themes were explored using bibliometric network analysis keyword co-citation. Occupational moral injury and post-traumatic embitterment disorder (PTED) describe the psychological distress caused by exposure to injustice at work. Introduction:

Recruiting rural-practicing clinicians is a high priority. In this study, we explored burnout and contributing work conditions among rural, urban, family practice physicians advanced (APCs) in an Upper Midwestern health care system.

Methods:

The Mini Z reduction measure was administered by anonymous electronic survey March 2022. We conducted bivariate analyses of study variables, then assessed relationships variables to with multivariate binary logistic regression.
