Method In this retrospective cohort study, we analyzed data from all registered 2019–2021 Norwegian Patient Register. We used graphical approaches, descriptives, Poisson regression occurrence risk episodes three-year observation period. Sankey diagrams were examine trajectories induced various substances. Results Despite a decrease diagnosed COVID-19, increased overall. observed decline cannabis-induced psychosis, but rise involving amphetamines multiple Among recurrent episodes, was more often different substances (2020: RR, 1.50 [95% CI, 1.34–1.67]; 2021: 1.30 1.16–1.46]) than 2019. Less is known about how these groups fared later phases and post- pandemic. We compared late-pandemic on adults ill-health other vulnerabilities to enable better service planning future crises.Design methods: This mixed-method study surveyed 532 online, 2021-2022. All participants self-reported ill-heath either formal autism diagnosis (181), self-identification of (167), or were non-autistic (184). Self-ratings health, need healthcare ease access during COVID across demographics. Responses an open question analysed using Reflexive Thematic Analysis. Results: Most reported poor high needs great difficulty obtaining appropriate care Significant differences found age, neurotype education level: younger worse health; people neurodivergent conditions than (NDCs) greater healthcare; NDCs lower levels care. analysis identified four themes/sub-themes: “Greater most”; “Exceptions rule: improvements some (mainly autistic people)”; “Navigating a scarce resource”; “Telehealth: enabler some, barrier others”. Conclusions: Having condition rather status was more important determining pandemic impacts.
