Abstract Background Substance use may be associated with the onset of psychotic symptoms, necessitating treatment for individuals comorbid mental health and substance disorders (MHD/SUD). COVID-19 significantly impacted MHD/SUD, reducing access to appropriate care treatment. Changes in drug availability prices during pandemic have influenced consumption. Objective: Widespread mental health impacts occurred early in the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for those with pre-existing conditions. Less is known about how these groups fared later phases and post- pandemic.
