Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has led to significant changes in daily life, including physical activity levels. This study aims examine the impact of on sport participation and walking among Polish adults using data from National Test for Poles' Health (NTZP), a large-scale online survey, with over 300 000 participants each year. survey was conducted before one year after onset Poland. results revealed that percentage respondents engaging at least 2 hours sport/week increased by 2,3% (from 24,6% 26,9%) not any decreased 2,5% 48,0% 45,5%). These trends were observed across different age, sex, dwelling-place, education level, employment groups. Percentage declaring they spend more than hours/day also increased, 5,6% 6,6%. Furthermore, positive association found between time. findings suggest slight improvement levels during pandemic, which may be attributed factors such as time available due remote work prioritization health crisis. Abstract Background In Saudi Arabia, stay-at-home orders to address the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic between March 15 and 23, 2020 eased on May 28, 2020. Saudi Arabia is experiencing rapid development of the built environment and implementing policy changes to promote physical activity (PA) reduce sedentary behavior (SB) among its population. In light these developments, this scoping review systematically summarized population levels PA/SB in Arabia.The authors searched 6 databases on December 13, 2021, for articles published English or Arabic from 2018 search date. Studies using population-based sampling measuring were included.Of 1272 records found, 797 screened, 19 studies (9 children/adolescents age 6-19 y 10 adults 15-75 y) included. All cross-sectional design, 18 collected data at only one point time, ranging 2009 2020. A total relied self-reporting assess a variety questionnaires. Lifestyle behaviors are daily habits influenced by social and environmental factors. This study examined lifestyle their associations with sociodemographics, comorbidities, pain in Saudi university students during the academic year 2021 2022. All received invitation via emails to complete an online questionnaire. The questionnaire included four sections (sociodemographics, health-related information, desired health promotion activities, a behavior assessment) Health-Promoting Profile II (HPLP-II). between variables were assessed using Pearson’s correlation multiple linear regression. was completed 1112 students. Purpose Multiple infectious control measures, e.g. social distancing, city lockdown and mask-wearing, have been implemented since the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak. Given bidirectional relationship between foundational movement skills (FoMS) physical activity (PA), inadequate PA in Chinese children adolescents, FoMS tends to decrease during after COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, purpose of this paper is systematically review literature about impact pandemic on individuals aged 5–17 years societies. Design/methodology/approach Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses was followed. Peer-reviewed articles four electronic databases (Scopus, Web Science, EBSCOhost PubMed) were searched 8 May 2024. The quality each study evaluated by Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT) version 2018. Two independent reviewers involved all selection appraising procedures. Abstract Background As Saudi Arabia is expected to face population aging in the future, burden of diseases arising from inadequate physical activity (PA) and excess sedentary behavior (SB) may subsequently increase without successful interventions. The present study critically reviews global literature on effectiveness PA interventions targeting community-dwelling older adults draw lessons applications for future Arabia. Methods This umbrella review systematic included designed and/or reduce SB adults. We conducted searches July 2022 two electronic databases—PubMed Embase—and identified relevant peer-reviewed English. Results Fifteen focusing were included. Several reported that PA- or SB-based interventions, including eHealth (such as automated advice, tele-counseling, digital coaching, tracking feedback, online resources, social support, video demonstrations), mHealth non-eHealth goal setting, individualized motivational sessions, phone calls, face-to-face education, counseling, supervised exercise sending educational materials participants’ homes, music, marketing programs), effective short term (e.g., ≤ 3 months) but with wide heterogeneity findings methodologies. Introduction: During the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries implemented restrictions, social distancing measures, and lockdowns to limit spread of disease. The have affected children&rsquo;s screen time (ST), pain, physical activity (PA) levels. present study aimed explore relationships between several personal factors during pandemic. Methods: caregivers 329 children (median age=8 years) filled out an online self-reported survey about PA, ST, pain before, during, after curfew. Spearman&rsquo;s rank correlation coefficient was used associations these variables. The COVID-19 pandemic and the measures implemented to control it have led widespread lifestyle changes globally. While previous studies explored these effects across different age groups, this research focuses uniquely on college students in Kuwait. A cross-sectional study (N = 1259) was conducted among using a validated online questionnaire covering various aspects, including demographics, academic performance, self-reported body weight height, sleep duration, dietary habits, physical activity.
