With the accelerated increase in population of seniors aged 60 years or older Saudi Arabia, understanding utilization senior residential care homes is crucial for improving service delivery and policy planning to meet transformation objectives Vision 2030. To assess distribution determinants home across Arabia's 13 administrative regions, focusing on predictors functional dependency among different socio-demographic groups. This study analyzed data from 283 individuals ≥65 admitted social 2021. Variables included age, sex, education level, marital status, region, reasons use. Statistical analyses comprised descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, independent t-tests, multivariable logistic regression. The Makkah region had highest number users (56.8%; p < 0.0001). Most participants were men (67.8%), while women constituted 32.2%. mean age was 78.9 (SD = 10.6), with being significantly than (p 0.014). Covid-19 pandemic and its following lock-down lead to loneliness of older adults especially females. Smart phones can reduce the crises-caused complications. Technophobia is an overwhelming fear technology or powers artificial intelligence. The study focused on determining impact regular smartphone use in decreasing improving mental health successful ageing (SA) for residing alone during pandemic. China's smart aging policy system has been evolving to become more comprehensive, continuously promoting the application of information technology in nursing homes. This study explores adaptation process and experiences disabled older adults with use homes from four perspectives: physiological, psychological, social, environmental, examines its impact on their quality life. An interpretative phenomenological approach was adopted, purposive sampling used recruit participants. Semi-structured interviews were conducted 14 adults, data analyzed using Van Manen's phenomenology practice method. Abstract Background In recent years, it has become clear that participation in social activities by the older adult suppresses their need for long-term care. Abstract Loneliness and social isolation are prevalent concerns among older adults can lead to negative health consequences a reduced lifespan. New technologies increasingly being developed help address loneliness in adults, including monitoring systems, networks, robots, companions, smart televisions, augmented reality (AR) virtual (VR) applications. This systematic review maps human-centered design (HCD) user-centered (UCD) approaches, human needs, contextual factors considered current technological interventions designed the problems of adults. Narrating Loneliness: Isolation, Disaffection, and the Contemporary Novel DOI Creative Commons

This article focuses on the ways in which narrative accounts of loneliness literature problematize current definitions this important and yet underexplored determinant health. I argue that prevailing conceptualization health research, with a general emphasis social prescribing, obscures other dimensions beyond connectedness also need to be accounted for its definition. This research examined mobile phone addiction among Chinese college students, focusing on loneliness and psychological resilience within their digital environment.The study profiled students by sex grade, assessed levels of addiction, loneliness, resilience, compared these variables based students' profiles, explored relationships the variables, proposed an intervention program.Using a descriptive survey method, data were collected from Shanghai University across various majors grades via Mobile Phone Addiction Index (MPAI), UCLA Loneliness Scale, CD-RISC Psychological Resilience Scale.Analytical techniques included ANOVA, independent samples T-test, Pearson correlation, regression analysis.Results indicated most male (51.4%) belonged to grade 2.00 (29.6%).They exhibited mild (Mean = 45.36,SD 12.71), high 49.20,SD 3.28), 82.79,SD 17.98).Significant differences in found between males females, with females showing higher coping abilities.Differences noted for but not loneliness.Females demonstrated greater adaptability, emotional strength, problem-solving skills, overall which negatively correlated loneliness.The concluded that while showed significant resilience.Recommendations targeted support lower-grade programs well-being, peer enhance social connections.
