Abstract Background Migrants face several barriers when accessing care and tend to rely on emergency services a greater extent than primary care. Comparing department (ED) utilization by migrants non-migrants can unveil inequalities affecting the migrant population pave way for public health strategies aimed at improving outcomes. This systematic review aims investigate differences in ED between non-migrant populations ultimately advance research migrants’ access inform policies addressing inequalities. Methods A literature search was conducted March 2023 Pubmed, Scopus, Web of Science databases. The included studies were limited those relying data collected from 2012 written English or Italian. Despite the growing body of migration studies focusing on vulnerable groups, experiences disabled women affected by wars remain underexplored. This study examines lives physically immigrant in Kilis, Türkiye, during Syrian Civil War, with an emphasis family life, marriage, language services, employment, communication, and community integration. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted ten women, revealing four key themes through interpretative analysis. The findings indicate that: (1) self-stigmatization, religious cultural expectations, spatial segregation contribute to social isolation; (2) barriers, lack skills, employment challenges impede integration; (3) norms, along various forms violence, undermine well-being; (4) fear return, legal uncertainties, negative media narratives exacerbate insecurity. highlights intersectionality disability, migration, gender, illustrating how factors anti-migrant sentiments amplify gender inequality adversely impact these women's well-being.

Purpose This paper aims to explore the influence of spatial dynamics on street vendors and examines insecurities coping mechanisms they faced adopted during pandemic. Women from Syria and Iraq constitute two of the largest groups humanitarian visa entrants to Australia in past 10 years. Barriers enablers preventive sexual reproductive health (SRH) for these women are poorly understood. The aim this study was establish SRH care needs experiences refugee backgrounds living Australia. A qualitative using semi-structured interviews conducted with Melbourne, Caseworkers assisted recruitment volunteer interpreters interviews. Between 1 December 2021 17 May 2022, were English or Arabic a interpreter. Audio recordings dialogue transcribed verbatim. Reflexive thematic analysis used analyse report data. Eighteen interviewed. This study investigates the determinants of women empowerment among refugee living in Nairobi, Kenya. First, constructs an index to examine drivers using data from Refugee and Host Household Survey (RHHS) 2021. A fractional logit regression model was employed study. Abstract Background Conflicts exacerbate dynamics of power and inequalities through violence normalization, which acts as a facilitator for conflict-related sexual violence. Literature addressing its negative outcomes on survivors is scant. The aim this systematic review was to analyze the qualitative evidence reported in scientific literature focusing consequences victims’ physical, psychological, social dimensions health gender-inclusive disaggregated form. This paper explores the firsthand experiences of immigrant women victims domestic violence amidst COVID-19 crisis. Sixteen Iranian and Afghan residing in Sweden were interviewed. Their responses analyzed using qualitative content analysis. An intersectional perspective was used to understand among women. Migrants and women were among the groups most adversely affected by COVID-19 pandemic global disaster. Through an intersectional lens that considers both migrant female identities, it can be inferred particularly vulnerable to pandemic. This study aims investigate impact of on living in Milan (North-West Italy), leveraging accounts a pool key informants (KIs). We performed in-depth retrospective qualitative using semi-structured interviews explore perspectives KIs working third sector organizations public hospitals. After conducting extensive mapping with experience migrants providing health, social, and/or administrative services during pandemic, 28 seven recruited. Interviews transcribed inductively analyzed. Overall, exacerbated pre-existing vulnerability factors affecting triggering several cascading effects. The shutdown further marginalized them hindered their regularization empowerment path. Migrant women's financial situation was significantly impacted, as instances they had informal gendered jobs. Caregivers sex workers sub-groups Episodes gender-based violence appeared rise, while requests for assistance declined. Accessing vaccination campaign posed challenges many women, who at times tended skeptical about it.
