Abstract: Chinese herbal medicines and their extracts will produce nano-components of charcoal drugs after high-temperature carbonization, the process is similar to that carbon dots (CDs). medicine-derived CDs (CHM-CDs) are a new carbon-based nanomaterial with particle size less than 10 nm discovered in recent years. CHM-CDs possess range beneficial traits, such as minimal toxicity, strong water solubility, superior biocompatibility, remarkable photoluminescence capabilities. Additionally, they exhibit multifaceted pharmacological activity absence drug loading. Over past half-decade, numerous publications have presented evidence suggesting wide array effects. Chronic wound treatment poses a substantial challenge to healthcare systems. Certain herbal medicines have demonstrated clinical efficacy in promoting chronic healing, yet their therapeutic mechanisms at the molecular level remain elusive due complex composition and multifaceted nature. In this study, Ba-Hao ointment (BHO), sophisticated formulation with diverse ingredients, is selected as model precisely investigate its wound-healing mechanism. Network pharmacology analysis docking simulations reveal that BHO specifically interacts key proteins, including vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), suggesting ability modulate critical biological pathways involved inflammation tissue regeneration.
