Abstract Several studies have shown COVID-19 has affected the mental health and quality of life students. This study aimed to assess students in two Brazilian public universities 2020, using a cross-sectional study. The profile participants was delineated from sociodemographic questionnaire, assessed by WHOQOL-bref. A total 144 were assessed, which most them under 23 (57%), female (78%), self-declared brown (46%) without partner (87%). Most declared sleep less than 8 hours day, considered their be good, satisfied with health. social relationships domain had highest average, followed environment, physical psychological domains. perception student's factors associated sex, family income, number sleeping hours.

The COVID-19 pandemic led to major changes in people's lives via protective strategies aimed at limiting the transmission of COVID-19, including social distancing, lockdowns, cancelled or limited leisure activities and tutorials supervision for students taking place digital. Abstract Worldwide, the role of nursing workforce in reducing COVID‐19 case fatality ratio (CFR) is analyzed with scatter plots, Pearson's r and nonparametric, partial correlation multiple linear regression models. The COVID-19 pandemic increased public health awareness, changing consumers' sensitivity and beliefs about food health. Food anxiety scares turn consumers toward safe healthy foods to strengthen their immunity, which makes green more popular. However, it remains unclear how understand the gap between consumer intention purchase actual purchasing behaviour. Taking rice as an object of study, comparing differences in perceptions emotions towards green-labelled conventional is beneficial for understanding components psychological characteristics food. Therefore, we used topic modelling sentiment analysis explore focus attention, attitudinal preferences, tendencies based on review (n = 77,429) from JD.com. findings revealed that (1) concerns are increasing rapidly, most have a positive attitude; (2) concerned origin, aroma, taste than rice; (3) cost-performance ratio, while also price-sensitive; (4) label mistrust packaging breakage during logistics leading causes negative among rice. Evidence shows that university students, especially healthcare experienced considerable health impacts during COVID-19. This study examined Hong Kong general nursing students’ mental and quality of life the COVID-19 pandemic. An online questionnaire composed personal demographics, Fear scale (FCV-19S), Depression Anxiety Stress Scale short version (DASS21), World Health Organization Quality Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) was used for data collection in early 2021. Among 380 respondents, 170 (45%) did not attend clinical practicum Students who participate training scored lower FCV-19S but higher WHOQOL-BREF than those participated (p = 0.001 or p < 0.001). were negatively correlated (r −0.623 to −0.446, Slight negative correlations found between DASS-21 scores. Although there no significant differences DASS21 0.294–0.931) these two student groups, a considerably high prevalence rate depression (57.1%), anxiety (47.6%), stress (39.5%). attended pandemic, substantial emotional implications. Abstract Objectives To examine changes in grit and psychological capital among nursing students prior to, during the height of pandemic, more than 12 months after initial pandemic announcement. Methods A cross-sectional study design addressed aim study. Nursing undertaking a three-year baccalaureate degree between 2019 2021 were included. Previous research showed that the COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact on wellbeing and lifestyle of populations worldwide, including eating physical activity (PA) patterns. The present study aims to examine mediating effect orthorexia relationship between PA fear COVID-19. A sample 473 university students from Poland mean age 22 years (M = 22.04, SD 2.90, 47% women) participated in cross-sectional online survey study. Continuous variables were measured using Fear Scale (FCV-19S) Test Orthorexia Nervosa (TON-17), while categorical divided participants into physically active inactive group regarding WHO criteria (150 min per week). Weak gender differences found. Active people lower higher scores than those inactive. was found as suppressor variable, which increases negative predictive value model cooperative suppression explained 7% FCV-19S. mechanism mediation health-related behavior could help reduce COVID-19, but caution is necessary for with addictive tendencies.
