The COVID-19 pandemic presented significant challenges for individuals who experienced stroke and their caregivers. It is essential to understand the factors affecting preventive behavior in these populations. Therefore, present study examined that influenced motivation vaccine uptake among patients with A cross-sectional comprising 191 participants (81 110 caregivers) was carried out. Participants completed a survey assessing fear of COVID-19, stress, perceived susceptibility, problematic social media use, behaviors, uptake. Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, multiple linear regressions. Motivation significantly positively correlated use (r = 0.225, P .002), susceptibility 0.197, .008), 0.179, .015), but negatively stress −0.189, .010). Caregivers, compared patients, showed lower level (standardized coefficient −0.23, .017). Furthermore, higher levels were associated increased 0.22, .006), while greater −0.38, < .001). Among caregivers, behaviors by such as fear, stress. By using strategies targeted education, support, communication campaigns, healthcare providers policymakers may be able enhance well-being caregivers during future pandemics.

In December 2022, China terminated its dynamic zero-COVID policy. To date, however, no research has been conducted upon mental health issues and their relationship with quality of life (hereafter QoL) among fire service recruits since the policy ended. This study explored fear COVID-19 (FOC) prevalence correlates as well network structure interconnections QoL recruits. Abstract Background Phubbing, a phenomenon of ignoring others in face-to-face conversations due to mobile phone use, can be assessed using Phubbing Scale (PS). Recently, the PS has been shortened into an eight-item version, PS-8. However, psychometric properties PS-8 among Iranian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani individuals remain understudied, especially advanced testing, such as Rasch network analyses. Methods Participants residing Iran, Bangladesh, Pakistan (n = 1902; 50.4% females; mean age 26.3 years) completed Internet Disorder Scale-Short Form (IDS9-SF) via online survey. Network analysis was used examine if items were differentiated from IDS9-SF items; confirmatory factor (CFA) structure measurement invariance PS-8; modeling dimensionality differential item functioning (DIF). Results showed that clustered together with distance items. The CFA results supported two-factor PS-8, found invariant across countries women men. model indicated two subscales both unidimensional did not display DIF gender/sex. Conclusion is feasible robust instrument for healthcare providers, mental health professionals, quickly assess evaluate individuals’ phubbing behaviors.

This cross-sectional study investigated how fear induced by COVID-19 impacted nephrolithiasis patients' decision-making, and preferences for care delivery. Methods: Utilizing the validated Fear of Scale (FCV-19S), patients were surveyed at a single stone clinic during part pandemic, 03/2021–04/2022. One-way analysis variance (ANOVA), Chi-square tests, multinomial logistic regression evaluated effect sociodemographics responses. Results: Two hundred four surveys completed. Mean age was 58±16 years, 112 (54.9%) women. FCV-19S 14.8±5.8 points (range, 7–33). Women non-Caucasian races associated with higher scores (P<0.01 P=0.01 respectively).
