understanding
depression
trajectories,

describe
long-term

trajectories
are
shaped
by
complex
interplay
biological,
psychological,
social
factors.
However,
despite
extensive
research
on
depression's
prevalence
risk
factors,
comprehensive
synthesis
trajectory
patterns,

determinants,
implications

limited.

review
systematically
examines
existing
literature
in
adults,
identifying
key
influences
such
age,

socioeconomic
