Cutaneous

pollutants
have
not
defined,
especially
when
compared
to
other
stressors.
Among

pollutants,
UV
radiation
particulate
matter
(PM)
found
among
most
aggressive
in
terms
damage,
inducing
oxinflammatory
responses,
promoting
degradation
extracellular
matrix
(ECM)
components,
compromising
cutaneous
defensive
barrier.
Topical
application
technologies
able
prevent
oxidative
damage

best
approaches
protect
our
skin,

antioxidant

Atopic
dermatitis,
also
known
as
atopic
eczema,
is
a
chronic
inflammatory
skin
disease
characterized
by
red
pruritic
lesions,
xerosis,
ichthyosis,
and
pain.
Among
the
social
impacts
of
dermatitis
are
difficulties
detachment
in
relationships
stigmatization.
Additionally,
to

sleep
disturbance,
anxiety,
hyperactivity,
depression.
Although
pathological
process
behind

fully
known,
it
appears
be

barrier
dysfunction

dysregulation.

we
investigated

UVA
UVB
radiation,

with
urban
particulate
matter
(UPM),
on
human
dermal
fibroblasts
(HDF).
We
show
here
that
treatment
HDF
subcytotoxic
dose
UVA/UVB
results
in
series
events
leading
to
mitochondrial
dysfunction,
increased
ROS
levels,
DNA
damage.
These
are
known
trigger
either
cellular
senescence
or
cell
death,
depending
cells'
ability
clear
damage
activating
autophagy.
Whereas
UPM
isolation
did
not
affect
proliferation
survival
HDF,
note,
simultaneous
UV-irradiated
cells
selectively
inhibited
autophagic
flux,
thereby
changing
fate

apoptotic
death.
Our
findings
highlight
synergistic
UV
skin
aging,
emphasizing
need
consider

ageing,

developed
world,
with
a
significant
increase

years
old.
They

adverse
environmental
conditions.
Among
them,
indoor
air
quality

relevant,
as
elders
spend
comparatively
time
indoors
than
younger
generations.
Furthermore,
recent
COVID-19
pandemic
contributed
immensely
raising
awareness

human
health

airborne
infections
poisoning.
Hence,
this
work
reviews
state
art
regarding
elderly
centers,
considering
type
pollutants
involved,
their
emission
sources,
effects.

prevalence
to
become
the
most
common
inflammatory
skin
condition
globally,
and
geographic
variation
migration
studies
suggest
an
important
role
for
environmental
triggers.
Air
pollution,
especially
due
industrialization
wildfires,
may
contribute
development
exacerbation
of
AD.
We
provide
a
comprehensive,
multidisciplinary
review
existing
molecular
epidemiologic
on
associations
air
pollutants
AD
symptoms,
prevalence,
incidence,
severity,
clinic
visits.
Cell

demonstrated
that
symptoms

aryl
hydrocarbon
receptor
pathway,
