Multiple Myeloma (MM) is the second most common malignancy of hematopoietic system, accounting for approximately 10% all hematological malignancies, and currently, there no complete cure. Existing research indicates that exosomal long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a crucial regulatory role in initiation progression tumors, involving various interactions such as lncRNA-miRNA, lncRNA-mRNA, lncRNA-RNA binding proteins (RBP). Despite significant clinical application potential lncRNAs, this area still faces challenges due to their low abundance technical limitations. To our knowledge, review first comprehensively integrate elucidate three mechanisms action lncRNAs MM, propose therapeutic targets cases based on these mechanisms. We highlight latest advancements biomarkers targets, offering not only comprehensive analysis MM but also new perspectives methods future diagnosis treatment multiple myeloma.

The invasion and metastasis of pancreatic cancer (PC) are key factors contributing to disease progression poor prognosis. This process is primarily driven by EMT, which has been the focus recent studies highlighting role long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) as crucial regulators EMT. However, mechanisms lncRNAs influence invasive multifaceted, extending beyond EMT regulation alone. review aims characterize affecting in cancer. We summarize regulatory roles across multiple molecular pathways highlight their translational potential, considering implications for clinical applications diagnostics therapeutics. focuses on three principal scientific themes. First, we orchestrate various signaling pathways, such TGF-β/Smad, Wnt/β-catenin, Notch, regulate changes associated with thereby enhancing cellular motility invasivenes. Second, effects autophagy ferroptosis discuss exosomal tumor microenvironment behavior neighboring cells promote cell invasion. Third, emphasize RNA modifications (such m6A m5C methylation) stabilizing capacity mediate PC. Increased evidence reveals that glycolysis is one of the key metabolic hallmarks cancer cells. However, roles lncRNA FTX in energy metabolism and progression remain unclear. In this study we aim to show was significantly upregulated tissues serum CRC patients cell lines. Function indicated it could promote aerobic glycolysis, proliferation, migration invasion colorectal Further mechanistic studies showed, found function as a sponge for miR-215-3p, which reduced ability miR-215-3p repress YAP1 oncoprotein. Additionally, negative correlation observed between expression, knockdown or overexpression yielded opposite effects. conclusion, demonstrates directly combine with competitive endogenous RNA, thus promoting vitro vivo.

Disulfidptosis, an innovative type of controlled cellular death linked to metabolic dysfunction, has garnered attention. However, there is limited knowledge regarding the involvement disulfidptosisrelated lnRNAs (DRlncRNAs) in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC). The objective our team this study seeks establish a DRlncRNAs signature, investigate their prognostic value LSCC, and explore associations with immune subpopulations, biological signaling pathways, exploring implications for drug sensitivity. We accessed LSCC patients' RNA-seq data pertinent clinical subsequent further analysis from Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) portal. A literature search was conducted focusing on disulfidptosis-related genes. Pearson correlation coefficients were calculated identify DRlncRNAs. Differential expression lncRNAs performed. Utilizing univariate Cox regression analysis, we identified disulfidptosis-associated lncRNAs. LASSO-Cox employed refine set construct signature. Various statistical techniques appraise model predictive performance. Subsequently, risk groups stratified based score derived superiority prognostication over traditional clinicopathological features patients demonstrated. Evident distinctions emerged between groups, particularly subpopulations like activated mast cells, eosinophils, NK cells. Finally, low-risk group demonstrated reduced IC50 values specific chemotherapeutics cisplatin gemcitabine. vitro experiments indicated differential behavior signature can serve as robust biomarker ability predict both prognosis therapeutic responses among LSCC.
