cattle,

Understanding
the
dynamic
and
stability
of
gut
microbiota
over
course
production
cycle
broiler
chicken
can
help
identify
microbial
features
that
associate
with
better
health
productivity.
In
present
study,
we
profile
changes
in
composition
commercially
raised
broilers
at
nine
distinct
time
points
using
shotgun
metagenomics
culturomics
approaches.
We
demonstrate,
within
first
week
post-hatching,
a
rapid
decline
relative
abundance
122
pioneer
species
including
Bacteroides
fragilis,
Lachnospira
eligens
Ruminococcus
gnavus,
accompanied
by
substantial
decrease
both
richness
diversity.

was
followed
gradual
increase
stabilization

population
structure
persisted

cycle,
key
bacterial
families
