Potentially morally injurious events (PMIEs) can negatively impact mental health. The COVID-19 pandemic may have placed healthcare staff at risk of moral injury.To examine the PMIE on wellbeing.Twelve thousand nine hundred and sixty-five (clinical non-clinical) were recruited from 18 NHS-England trusts into a survey exposure wellbeing.PMIEs significantly associated with adverse health symptoms across staff. Specific work factors experiences injury, including being redeployed, lack PPE, having colleague die COVID-19. Nurses who reported disorders more likely to report all forms PMIEs than those without (AOR 2.7; 95% CI 2.2, 3.3). ABSTRACT Objective The present study assessed program feasibility and satisfaction among recent‐era veterans who participated in Mindfulness to Manage Moral Injury (MMMI), a live facilitated web‐based 7‐week mindfulness‐based targeting moral injury veterans. Method In total, 56 post‐9/11 were recruited with 28 randomized the MMMI condition Education Support (ES) condition. Most participants identified as being White (71.4%), male (66.1%), had reported mean age of 41.50 years (Median = 39.50, SD 9.26). Results Among participants, 82.1% attended at least one treatment session 44.6% completed all seven sessions. Objective: Military veterans experience a higher prevalence of mental health difficulties compared to the general population.Research has highlighted who have poorer treatment outcomes.Understanding veteran needs may help improve services and outcomes.The aim this study was explore complexity wellbeing among national clinical sample veterans. Moral injury exacerbates poor outcomes, such as negative attitudes toward the future; however, potential underlying mechanisms of this association remain unknown. This present study aimed to disentangle pathways linking moral confidence future through serial mediation effect psychological resilience and valued living in a Turkish population. Background Veterinary professionals (VPs) are often exposed to distressing and ethically challenging events in their line of work, yet little is known about whether they may experience moral injury the impact potentially morally injurious (PMIEs) have on wellbeing. This cross-sectional study aimed examine association between PMIEs mental health outcomes U.K. VPs.Method Assessments PMIE exposure self-report measures common disorders were administered using an anonymous online questionnaire 90 VPs December 2020 May 2021.Results Exposure was reported by almost all (89.0%), with acts omission most frequently reported. Experiences significantly associated symptoms PTSD (p < 0.01) experiencing a betrayal event (p<0.05). Health care workers have been exposed to a variety of practical and emotional challenges because the Covid-19 pandemic, leaving them vulnerable experiencing moral injury distress. However, there is currently sparse research which directly explores such experiences. Abstract Objectives : Despite the increasing consensus that moral injury (MI) is a unique type of psychological stressor, there an ongoing debate about best practices for care. This qualitative study explored perceptions UK and US professionals in field MI investigating advances challenges treatment or support delivery issues relating to treatment/support feasibility acceptability.
