Distant or online learning on digital platforms has become the norm in education worldwide, putting students under immense mental strain. The present study examined association between psychological distress and coping strategies among engaged learning. This used a cross-sectional design. A structured questionnaire was sent to each of 210 university at two prestigious public private universities Bangladesh through email. Data collected from March 26 April 27, 2021. Severe found 55.2 percent population. Younger age groups, students, with no self-income, moderate aid providing resources home, existing health illnesses were significantly associated (p-value<0.05). Among all 14 items Brief COPE, active coping, using emotional support, self-blame influenced instrument Kessler-10 (p-value<0.01). Given perspective this study, alleviate stress facilitate positive outcomes. Students' is prioritized issue that needs more attention. Because its higher prevalence adverse consequences, institution authorities should support student by materials, loans, scholarships. Routine screening will allow identifying going difficult time who can get help experts counseling.

Abstract Background Night eating syndrome (NES) is a kind of disorder. NES association with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms among university students still not fully understood. We aimed to determine the relationship between and presence GERD at An-Najah National University in Palestine. Methods This study involved undergraduate from University. The data were collected through online surveys November December 2023. sampling frame voluntary sampling, as using structured questionnaire collect on sociodemographic variables, medical history, lifestyle habits, nutritional status, risk, NES. (GerdQ) was used assess symptoms, while Arabic version validated Eating Questionnaire (NEQ) night eating. Physical activity assessed short form International Activity (SF-IPAQ), adherence Mediterranean diet MEDAS. Both univariate multivariate analyses also conducted hypotheses. Results 554 participants, 59.9% female. A total 33.4% reported 10.3% having strong observed physical activity. (AOR = 2.84, CI 1.07–3.19), high 0.473, 1.05–3.19), non-smoking 0.586, 1.27–7.89) identified independent predictors symptoms. Conclusion revealed that risk GERD, eaters greater risk. negatively associated level smoking status. No associations found weight adherence, factors, or sleep disturbances.

The unprecedented experience of national lockdowns and uncertainty academic career due to the COVID-19 pandemic has multifaceted impacts on mental health among university students worldwide. A total 278 (response rate, 26.9%) completed questionnaire. majority respondents male (69.8%) aged from 18 30 (Mean: 21.7 ±SD 2.07) years. prevalence self-reported moderate severe 44.2% (95% CI, 38.5–49.6) 27.3% 22.3–32.4) Participants having their family members as frontline workers reported a significantly higher level (χ2 = 4.85, p 0.028). In multivariable logistic regression analysis, who academically lagging showed (AOR 5.36, 95% CI 2.86–10.04) 3.83, 95%CI 1.86–7.88) compared not behind. high percentage by CST pandemic.
