Abstract Interactive, constructive, active and passive technology scale (ICAP-TS) is a relatively new developed instrument representing an essential literature need. Through this cross-cultural study, we strived to accomplish three-fold aim. Firstly, aspired verify the scale's construct validity reliability on large sample of teachers across seven European countries. Secondly, aimed evaluate quality integration (TI) heterogeneous with ICAP-TS explore for which learning activities use technologies, within ICAP learning/engaging modes how often. Thirdly, examine relationships between different types (TT) TI in modes. The research involved 2277 primary lower secondary school teachers. Confirmatory factor analysis revealed that internal structure corresponds well overall sample, but some countries, model fit should be further refined. Exploratory extracted two basic components TT— . On general level most often integrate into mode usage TT, if these results are observed each country separately, not case everywhere. Passive TT predicts passive, active, constructive more, while interactive, This study has several implications. For example future topics can include reviewing, revising, or adding items related theory improve its validity. Other recommendations stated discussion.

The self-explanation effect (SEE) has great potential in strengthening student learning outcomes. With adequate instructional guidance, this is even higher. Our study aimed to examine what extent direct instruction (DI) and indirect (II) science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics (STEAM) education can strengthen different types of engagement, as well whether the SEE support STEAM enhance engagement. research was conducted through a quasi-experimental design. data were collected using an instrument–the engagement scale analyzed confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), one-way ANOVA analysis, paired sample t-test. involved 103 students aged 9-10 years. results CFA showed that adapted version instrument for measuring four engagement–emotional, behavioral, cognitive, agentic–represents valid reliable measure these purposes primary education. In addition t-test revealed usage DI II proved be successful enhancing all performance activities, whereby combination with singled out most strategy. As significant practical implication, underlines need create appropriate conditions introducing teaching STEAM.

Purpose: This research aimed to develop testing instruments for the ability think of high level chemicals that are valid, relay, and have quality problem items in good category. Design/Approach/Methods: The study used a quantitative approach with modifications Wilson, Oriondo, Antonio models. Stratified random sampling techniques 275 sample students. Polytomous data were analyzed using Partial Credit Models. Findings: results analysis showed validity reliability by 0.9 0.854, 16 points questions having fit category 79%. difficulty index 20 question was 1 item “Difficult” 19 “Medium.” test takers (Ɵ) range −2 +2, which relatively good. development qualified be measure thinking levels chemistry. Originality/Value: discusses on application Item Response Theory developing higher order skills chemistry learning. We hope this can trigger other role teachers measuring students’ abilities 21st-century

Abstract According to the theoretical frameworks and teaching practice, constructs of Technology acceptance model - TAM Cognitive load theory CLT are in a close cause-and-effect relationship, gaining insights into this issue is essential for educators. Our study aimed examine continuous intention (CTI) with emerging technologies (ET) through perceived usability (PUS), attitudes towards (ATT) cognitive (PCL) from aspect teachers’ perceptions. A survey research design using cross-sectional technique was applied. The involved 801 primary lower secondary school teachers. Results showed that TAM-CLT scale aligned fits overall sample well. In addition, PUS can be crucial factor shaping ATT CTI ET because construct positively influences these variables underlining importance designing user-friendly ET. However, our reveals lack significant negative relationship between PCL PUS, absence mediation PUS. These unexpected findings highlight complexity users’ experiences need more nuanced understanding interplay constructs. One implications refers further investigation underlying mechanisms PCL, CTI. Many studies have employed corpus linguistics methodologies to gain insights into L2 learning and teaching. While these contributed a comprehensive theoretical understanding of use in instruction, particularly vocabulary learning, there remains gap practical application, especially within the context English as Foreign/Second Language (EFL/ESL). Therefore, this paper empirically examined effectiveness using approach for EFL students’ development explored attitudes toward develop their vocabulary. In five-week experimental study, involving 24 Saudi female students, participants were evenly divided two groups: control groups. These objectives investigated mixed-method design, comprising both quantitative qualitative approaches, which included pretests, posttests, questionnaires, diaries group only. Data statistically analyzed SPSS program (v.25), incorporating T-tests descriptive statistical analysis, alongside analysis learners’ corroborate questionnaire findings. The findings showed that groups revealed improved during study period based on post-test results, but favored received corpus-based approach. Furthermore, questionnaire’s results most students held positive COCA despite facing some difficulties, which, described weekly diaries, could be overcome over time through practice training.

Educational Robotics has had an important impact in recent years as it offers a number of advantages for students. The inclusion robotics any educational stage requires teachers with adequate predisposition and training, making necessary to know the opinions pre-service teachers. aim our study is analyze perceptions self-confidence 109 primary education before after intervention based on challenge-based learning teach scientific mathematical content, their third academic year. A quasi-experimental design was used involving pretest posttest, using nonparametric Mann-Whitney Wilcoxon U tests. results showed significant improvement overall mean self-confidence. In addition, led more positive perception benefits possibilities teaching although also increased difficulties implementation due lack training this digital resource. It concluded that interventions are required allow gain facilitate its introduction content.
