This study addresses the significant challenge posed by use of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT on integrity online examinations, focusing how these models can undermine academic honesty demonstrating their latent and advanced reasoning capabilities. An iterative self-reflective strategy was developed for invoking critical thinking higher-order in LLMs when responding to complex multimodal exam questions involving both visual textual data. The proposed demonstrated evaluated real subject experts performance (GPT-4) with vision estimated an additional dataset 600 text descriptions questions. results indicate that invoke multi-hop capabilities within LLMs, effectively steering them towards correct answers integrating from each modality into final response. Meanwhile, considerable proficiency being able answer across 12 subjects. These findings prior assertions about limitations emphasise need robust security measures proctoring systems more sophisticated mitigate potential misconduct enabled AI technologies.

Abstract Given the potential applications of generative AI (GenAI) in education and its rising interest research, this systematic review mapped thematic landscape 407 publications indexed Web Science, ScienceDirect Scopus. Using EPPI Reviewer, publication type, educational level, disciplines, research areas GenAI were extracted. Eight discursive themes identified, predominantly focused on ‘application, impact potential’, ‘ethical implication risks’, ‘perspectives experiences’, ‘institutional individual adoption’, ‘performance intelligence’. was conceptualised as a tool for ‘pedagogical enhancement’, ‘specialised training practices’, ‘writing assistance productivity’, ‘professional skills development’, an ‘interdisciplinary learning tool’. Key gaps highlighted include paucity discussions K‐12 education; limited exploration GenAI's using experimental procedures; ethical concerns from lens cultural dimensions. Promising opportunities future are highlighted.

ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) has extensively developed, impacting different sectors of society, including higher education, and attracted the attention various educational stakeholders, leading to a growing number research on its integration into education. Hence, this systematic literature review examines impact integrating AI tools in education students' personal collaborative learning environments. Analysis 148 articles published between 2021 2024 indicates that Tools improve personalised assessments, communication engagement, scaffolding performance motivation. Additionally, they promote environment by providing peer‐learning opportunities, enhanced learner‐content interaction cooperative support. Indeed, strategies such as skills development, ethical use, academic integrity instructional content design. Acknowledged limitations include considerations, particularly privacy bias, which require ongoing attention. it is recommended create good balance AI‐mediated human environments, key area future exploration.

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies are taking the lead among technological advancements around world, societies increasingly becoming interwoven with Generative AI (GAI) in all aspects, including higher education (HE). This study’s main aim is to examine how individual-level cultural dimensions influence students’ adoption of GAI learning, drawing on an extended Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT) model. It explores impact (individualism/collectivism and uncertainty avoidance), IDT innovation factors (relative advantage, complexity, compatibility, observability, trialability), individual (self-efficacy, perceived risk) Saudi perceptions across several universities. Quantitative data were collected from 306 online survey analyzed using CB-SEM. Results highlight instrumental role dimensions, individualism/collectivism avoidance negatively affecting adoption. While complexity showed no significant impact, other variables positively influenced Furthermore, self-efficacy risk found be indicators use. The study emphasizes differences that shape technology collectivist moving toward individualism such as Saudi. identifies limitations, provides useful insights, suggests recommendations for future research uptake culturally diverse HE contexts.

In recent years, the adoption of AI technologies in academia has increased, prompting a need to explain factors driving scholars adopt or plan research routines. This study integrates three models into one integrated model: TAM, UTAUT, and SCT. These are combined understand how GenAI self-efficacy, perceived ethics, academic integrity, social influence, facilitating conditions, risks, ease use, usefulness influenced participants’ intention research. Following this, data were collected from Egyptian academics linked universities. There 742 responses this question. Data analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The paper's results showed that ethics significantly related perceptions usefulness, use GenAI. Facilitating conditions have negative effect on risk does not affect significantly. Notably, result found integrity GenAI's usage utility. guide illustrates universities must take proactive steps influence will be used reinforces importance these tools within an ethical lens. paper emphasizes balance generative practices. It examines role attitudes toward AI. They represent step forward our understanding induce adoption–in case, context, specifically Egypt. Additionally, it places sound emphasis technology can beneficial whilst advocating for sensible approach application, which includes principles.

Purpose The research on intellectual capital focuses the role of innovative technologies in organizational systems, particularly knowledge generation and learning processes. This study addresses third stage research, emphasizing how like generative AI (Gen AI) applications can enhance experiences, individual talents personalized learning. Based WEST model, this examines relationship between attitude, competency, experience, Gen integration managers’ creative involvement. Additionally, it investigates direct mediating roles involvement improving effectiveness. Design/methodology/approach A cross-sectional survey managers from organizations operating diverse sectors Saudi Arabia was conducted using a web-administered structured questionnaire. PLS-based structural equation modeling employed to assess hypothesized relationships. Findings results revealed that manager’s attitude access positively affect its integration. However, only competence attitudes demonstrated same positive impact Furthermore, significantly also uncovered mediation enabling all four antecedents corroborated for competence. Originality/value integrating technologies, such as AI, enhances develops personalizes workplace contexts at managerial level. By providing new insights into dynamics settings, contributes literature.
