The current study explored the role of pre-existing and pandemic-time child, family or environmental factors in presentation mental health symptoms autistic youth their parents during pandemic. Rates of diagnosed attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may be increasing in the UK.Estimate incidence and prevalence ADHD diagnoses prescriptions UK adults children primary care.We conducted a cohort study using IQVIA Medical Research Data, care database. were calculated between 2000 2018 for individuals aged 3-99 years, analysed by age, gender, social deprivation status calendar year.Of 7 655 931 individuals, 35 877 (0.5%) had diagnoses; 18 518 (0.2%) received medication prescriptions. Diagnoses prescription rates greater men versus women, adults, (nearly double most deprived least quintile). By 2018, proportion was 255 per 10 000 (95% CI 247-263) boys 67.7 63.5-71.9) girls; it 74.3 72.3-76.2) 20 (95%CI 19.0-21.0) women. Corresponding figures 156 150-163) boys, 36.8 33.8-40.0) girls, 13.3 12.5-14.1) 4.5 4.1-5.0) Except among 3- to 5-year-olds, have increased from all age groups. COVID-19 pandemic may affect children's mental health. Children <18 years in-patiently admitted for health emergencies between March 2020 and June 2021 were compared to those in the same period of 2018-2019 terms sociodemographic clinical characteristics. There 49 admissions pre-pandemic 60 (IRR: 1.22; 95% CI: 0.84-1.79), with latter more likely have a family history psychiatric disorders, personal physical disturbances, present suicidal risk, being diagnosed an externalizing disorder. The aim of the paper was to describe referrals a UK school-based mental health service for children and adolescents. Abstract Mental health problems are common in children and young people (CYP) England, yet evidence suggests high levels of unmet need. COVID-19 pandemic may have affected youth's mental wellbeing. Youth admissions for health emergencies over the 2-year period following outbreak (March 2020-February 2022) were compared to those occurring in same of 2018-2020, with reference individual and clinical data.
