COVID-19

quality

sleep/wake
cycle,

coping
strategies,

hospital
personnel.

characteristics

factors

investigated

possible
predictors

analysis.
Results
showed
good
perceived
life
high
insomnia
prevalence.
After
sample
stratification,
statistical
analysis
highlighted
that
personal
(gender,
age,
educational
level)
(employment
COVID
wards,
remote
working)
played
roles
predicting
attitude.
Active,
Planning,
Acceptance
most
frequently
adopted
strategies.
Despite
women
confirming
their
attitude
reacting
difficulties,
adopting
emotion-focused
they
higher
probability
develop
so
gender
perspective
should

considered
protection

An
integrated
approach
implemented
at
individual,
interpersonal
organizational
levels
aiming
monitor
psychological
distress,
favor
regular
sharing
communication
between
peers,
allow
conciliation
work

family

preventive
protective
measures

Abstract
Objective
Explore
the
relevant
evidence
about
stress‐related
cognitive
appraisal
and
coping
strategies
among
registered
nurses
in
emergency
department
(EDRNs)
with
COVID‐19
pandemic.
Methods
This
scoping
review
followed
methodological
framework
of
Arksey
O'Malley
to
map
synthesize
findings.
We
searched
PubMed,
EMBASE,
CINAHL,
Web
Science,
Scopus
electronic
databases
for
related
studies
from
inception
through
February
2,
2022.
further
conducted
study
selection
based
on
PRISMA
flow
diagram
applied
Lazarus
Folkman's
Psychological
Stress
Coping
Theory
systematically
organize,
summarize,
report
Findings
Sixteen
were
included
synthesis.
Most
showed
that
majority
EDRNs
overwhelmed
by
Depression,
triaging
distress,
physical
exhaustion,
intention
leave
ED
nursing
cited
as
major
threats
their
wellness.
Additionally,
comprehensive
training,
a
modified
triage
system,
safe
workplace,
psychological
support,
promotion
resilience,
accepting
responsibility
may
help
cope
pandemic‐related
challenges
effectively.
Conclusion
The
long‐lasting
pandemic
has
affected
mental
health
because
they
have
increased
effort
respond
outbreak
dynamically
adjusted
strategies.
Future
research
should
address
prolonged
issues,
healthcare
quality,
solutions
facing
during
or
future
pandemics.
Clinical
Relevance
experienced
administrators
need
take
action
ensure
EDRNs'
safety
an
up‐to‐date
frontline
provide
high‐quality
care
combating
COVID‐19.

Background:
Throughout
the
COVID-19
pandemic,
hospital
medical
staff
(HMS)
have
faced
significant
personal,
workplace,
and
financial
disruption.
Many
experienced
psychosocial
burden,

predictors
of
coping
strategies
help-seeking
behaviours
utilised
by
Australian
junior
senior
HMS
during
first
year
pandemic.
Methods:
A
cross-sectional
online

frontline
healthcare
workers

2020.

collected
included
demographics,
personal
workplace
disruptions,
self-reported
validated
mental
health
symptoms,
strategies,
help-seeking.
Results:

9518
participants

37.9%

Both
groups

burden

depression,
post-traumatic
stress
disorder,
burnout.
Coping
varied
seniority,
with

Objectives
To
examine
the
extent
of
impact
COVID-19
pandemic
on
mental
health
and
well-being
professionals
(MHPs)
in
Netherlands
understand
their
needs

Background
During
the
COVID-19
pandemic,
concern

suicide
risk
among
healthcare
workers
(HCWs).
We
investigated
incidence
and
prevalence
of
suicidal
thoughts
behaviour
(STB),
their
relationship

occupational
factors,

HCWs
in
England
between
April
2020

2021.

longitudinal

NHS
Trusts
at
