Introduction
Poor
mentalization,

Background:
In
recent
years,
mentalizing
–
the
capacity
to
understand
one’s
own
and
others’
intentional
mental
states
in
social
contexts
has
been
considered

a
protective

enables
adaptive
processing

stress-related
emotional
arousal,

well-being
underpins
emotion
regulation.
Objective:
Several
studies
using
cross-sectional
research
designs
have
demonstrated
potential
health-promoting
effect

longitudinal
evidence

scarce.

present
study
aimed
investigate
whether
