Today, numerous studies have shown that the physical environment in hospitals can significantly influence patients’ well-being, comfort, and recovery. However, this is currently neglected Global South. Therefore, there an urgent need to increase awareness make it more applicable worldwide. Abstract Color of the sky serves as a direct indicator haze, while also exerting substantial influence on human physiological and psychological well-being, well overall environmental scenery. However, quantifying color changes is quite challenging. This research develops quantitative approach for evaluating atmospheric aerosol pollution appearance sky. We first calculated aerosols sky’s diffuse radiation, which source color. Then, we mapped radiation onto perceptually uniform space to quantify alterations in The results reveal that relationship between concentration change follows logarithmic-like distribution: higher concentration, weaker per unit increase concentration. Consequently, during early phases air control implementation, there may be minimal observable these measures are further enforced, discernible bluing effect will become evident. Based quantification color, blue-sky index (BSI) was established. find concurrent with improvements quality resulting from emission reduction measures, BSI has significantly decreased recent years China. trend indicates an frequency occurrences.

The challenge of campus design, like other aspects contemporary environmental reveals a serious problem in education and practice. foundational design theories century ago have been exposed as an obsolete way thinking about cities, human nature, biological even the nature mathematical physical structures. Yet practice, these discredited models persist, obscured by new theoretical language extravagant “neoplastic” forms, but embodying persistent though untested ideologies driven systems inertia. This paper considers typology (including business campuses, commercial districts, hospitals, schools) paradigm for pedestrian public space with implications flourishing well-being. We propose specific human-oriented method to encourage well-being occupants improve outcomes creative development, education, health.

Petrochemical clusters are forms of industrialization that use compounds and polymers derived directly or indirectly from gas crude oil for chemical applications. They pose a variety short- long-term risks to the environment people who live nearby. The aim this study is determine whether there correlation between degree perceived technological risk emotional value generated by contemplation petrochemical industry landscape in order try establish strategic lines action mitigate perception improve well-being population. This uses manipulated pictures Public Participation Geographic Information System (PPGIS) survey assess changes response residents Teheran (Iran). Key findings show an insignificant relationship both original pictures. However, taking into account that, general, pictures, more significant relationship, designing could help perception. contributes broader discussion about its environmental social consequences. It emphasizes importance considering public when planning developing industrial areas, so as balance functionality aesthetic considerations urban development.

Cities face growing challenges from stormwater: flooding, pollution, and habitat loss. Green infrastructure offers solutions, yet the aesthetic dimension is often overlooked. This study introduces Buras Beauty Scale for objectively assessing beauty of wetland configurations emphasises its integration into green projects. Our methodology involved surveying diverse groups, including non-architecture students non-traditional architects, who perceived higher in compared to traditional architects architecture (mean scores: 7.8 7.5 vs. 6.2 6.4, respectively). Statistical analysis revealed a strong correlation (r = 0.731, p < 0.05) between assessments Shannon-Weaver entropy, highlighting importance topographic diversity. We also observed that scores correlated with greater consensus among respondents, as evidenced by decrease coefficient variation 0.52 0.34. Multicriteria analyses, integrating functionality, identified optimal urban landscapes.
