Three decades after the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, world continues to grapple with intertwined challenges of environmental degradation and pursuit inclusive, sustainable economic growth. This study investigates three key aspects green growth: First, it examines whether global growth is converging or diverging across regions. Second, explores fundamental drivers regional differences growth, focusing on trade openness, CO2 emissions, transition renewable energy. Finally, delves into complex, nonlinear relationships between development sustainability. Using innovative methodologies such as PS club clustering log-t regression analysis, analyzes production-based productivity data from 134 countries spanning 1995 2022. Contrary conventional assumptions, results reveal significant divergence suggesting that different regions are experiencing varied levels success integrating goals. These findings highlight need for region-specific policies, emphasizing tailored strategies promote development. Policymakers should prioritize fostering accelerating energy transition, implementing stricter regulations, while also encouraging international collaboration bridge gap advanced developing economies.

In the current economic landscape, businesses are challenged by dual imperatives of digital transformation and sustainability goals. While is often heralded as a catalyst for innovation, its potential negative effects on green innovation remain underexplored. This study fills in this gap analyzing 1443 listed companies Shanghai Stock Exchange main board between 2013 2022, focusing mechanisms which impacts moderated role environmental, social, governance (ESG) performance. Our findings reveal that hinders increasing financing constraints. However, good ESG performance mitigates these alleviating constraints, thereby fostering innovation. hold up against endogeneity tests applying instrumental variable methods. Notably, effect differs significantly state-owned enterprises (SOEs) non-state-owned (non-SOEs). non-SOEs experience more pronounced challenges, also demonstrates stronger moderating role, unlike SOEs, where institutional advantages offset some These enhance understanding offering practical implications aligning strategies diverse organizational contexts.

The sustainable development of Inner Mongolia, particularly the coordinated energy, economy, and environment, plays a crucial role in shaping energy strategies environmental protection policies for both Mongolia China. Based on this, study focuses energy-economy-environment coupling employing system dynamics multi-scenario simulations. findings reveal: (1) overall coordination degree is improving, with energy-environment friendly scenario yielding best results; (2) industrial pollution consumption are significant factors influencing coordination; (3) addressing achieving carbon neutrality long-term challenges Mongolia’s development. Therefore, should optimize its structure, promote high-tech low-carbon industries, improve efficiency, develop renewable strengthen control emission management to achieve across environment.

Evaluating the industrial eco-system is essential for promoting resource efficiency, environmental development, and public health protection. However, traditional Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) methods are prone to biases rely on precise numerical values, which pose significant challenges when evaluating ecosystem in China, particularly given prevalent data uncertainties complexities. Additionally, DEA models typically static, fail capture long-term trends dynamic characteristics of ecosystem. To address these issues, this study proposes a three-stage model with an endogenous fuzzy directional distance function. The integrates generalized smooth bootstrap method comparison techniques correct errors account uncertainties, improving accuracy scientific validity eco-efficiency assessments. Chinese enterprises face such as excessive consumption, pollution, risks, necessitating more comprehensive flexible evaluation system adapt complex nature By focusing production, governance, threats (IPEGHT) research aims provide robust framework enhancing uncertain environment. results show: (1) proposed selecting direction vectors applied production stage, thereby identifying subsequent improvement directions various provinces. (2) idea integration adopted introduce mathematics, conduct IPEGHT eco-system. (3) From 2011 2021, China’s efficiency showed step-like distribution, attention needs be paid governance. method’ application can facilitate fosters sustainable

ABSTRACT Batik small‐medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia are recognized for their economic potential the creative industry sector. Nevertheless, waste poses significant environmental concerns. Entrepreneurship, digital technology, innovation, and green innovation understood to potentially enhance SMEs performance contribute sustainability. However, empirical research exploring interrelationship practice, particularly among batik SMEs, remains scarce. This study aims examine construct an model of entrepreneurship, from cases SMEs. Using eight case studies Cirebon Pekalongan cities Indonesia, this finds that entrepreneurship through technology can support innovations, while facilitate entrepreneurial activities. Entrepreneurship also promotes implementation innovations supported by other factors, enhances capability. The elaboration role factors detailed paper.
