Biodiesel is considered a viable alternative to conventional diesel, particularly for the ground transportation industry. While different plant seeds oils have been dominant feedstocks biodiesel synthesis date. However, they are often expensive due their limited supply and low reproductive rate. Objective: To present sustainable approach by using black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae as an feedstock. Methods: The were fed with waste chicken rice, fish, soft vegetables fruits. These wastes provide food shelter disease-causing insect contributes land pollution. Using petroleum ether solvent, 12.2 g of crude grease was extracted from ~ 500 larvae, resulting in about 11.8 through two-step acid-base catalyzed transesterification process. Results: resultant analyzed Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), revealing Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) profile predominantly comprising dodecanoic acid, 9-Hexadecenoic 9- octadecenoic acid 11- etc, emphasizing its potential high-quality diesel fuel. Conclusions: This study contributed develop eco-friendly renewable energy technology BSFL.

Abstract Background Parkinson's disease (PD), the most prevalent type of Parkinsonism, is a progressive neurological condition characterized by range motor and non‐motor symptoms. The complicated etiology PD thought to involve summation aging, genetic predisposition, environmental variables. However, α‐synuclein protein plays significant role in disease's pathophysiology. Materials methods UAS‐α‐Syn Ddc‐Gal4 strains were crossed produce offspring referred as flies. entire population flies was divided into five groups, each having about 100 replicates. control group (w 1118 ) not receiving treatment exposed lauric acid (LA)/levodopa (LD)‐free diet, while groups that received treatments fed with either 250 mg/kg LA LD or combination two for 21 days. Longevity, geotaxis, olfactory assays performed addition other biochemical tests. Results As result overexpression α‐synuclein, locomotive capacity, lifespan, antioxidant status all significantly ( p < .05) reduced, apoptotic neuroinflammatory activities increased. Nevertheless, majority treated improved .05). Conclusion LA, whether combined not, elicited response α‐synuclein/dopa decarboxylase genetically modified Drosophila melanogaster Parkinsonism models.

Describing fat phase behavior is of significant interest for food and non-food applications. One recognized approach to understand the complex fatty systems simplify matrix emphasize only main triacylglycerol (TAG) components. In this context, kinetic transformation paths binary mixtures selected saturated monoacids (trilaurin (LaLaLa), trimyristin (MMM), tripalmitin (PPP)) mixed triacylglycerols containing lauric (La) myristic (M) acids (MMLa LaLaM) typical from fats were investigated. Kinetic diagrams constructed based on DSC heating thermograms (fast cooling reheating at 5 °C min−1) powder X-ray diffraction data. The investigated diagram presented an apparently eutectic behavior, with a point that varies depending blend composition. Introducing TAGs or in blends led shift position point. Considering made LaLaLa, it was shifted XLaLaLa = 0.7 LaLaLa–MMM system 0.5 LaLaLa–MMLa mixture, 0.25 LaLaLa–LaLaM blend. Finally, two (MMLa–LaLaM) also non-ideal behavior.

The majority of insects reproduce sexually. Among the many factors involved in controlling reproductive process, cuticular lipids play an important role as unique chemical signatures species, developmental stage, and sex, participate mate recognition. An understanding sex- metamorphosis-related fluctuations lipid profiles harmful is necessary to hamper their process. A GC/MS analysis beehive pest Galleria mellonella Linnaeus (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) revealed 11 FFAs male pupae (C8:0, C9:0, C14:0, C15:0, C16:1, C16:0, C17:0, C18:1, C18:0, C20:1, C21:1) together with another two females (C10:0 C17:1). As metamorphosis progressed, some disappeared from pupal cuticle (C8:0 C17:0 both sexes, C10:0, C17:1, C20:1 only female pupae) levels others changed. In adult virgin males females, C8:0, reappeared absent (C6:0 C11:0) appeared. males, C13:0 also appeared (absent pupae). Copulation resulted disappearance decreased concentrations C11:0, elevated amounts C16:0 mated males. C18:1 increased while decreased. reduced cholesterol those
