Abstract Chrysin, the natural bioactive flavone compound, has been identified in several edible materials such as honey, propolis, and passionflower with numerous biological potentials pharmaceutical effects including antitumor, anti‐inflammatory, antiviral antioxidant. The compound reported to have lower vitro antioxidant activity compared other flavone‐based structures quercetin, luteolin, myricetin, which is mostly attributed higher hydroxylation presence of conjugated en‐diol these flavonoids lack structural features chrysin. On contrary effect chrysin, exerted remarkable vivo activities models related liver, brain, heart, kidneys, soft tissues. current review includes a discussion chrysin common flavonoids. study also covers subjects linked antioxidants, its metabolism, bioavailability, formulations that aim increase impact overcome low bioavailability.

ABSTRACT Cancer is a significant global public health concern, being the second leading cause of mortality, accounting for one in six cases worldwide. Researchers have employed various approaches cancer treatment, with nanobiotechnology emerging as standout technique developing anticancer agents. This study assessed activity chitosan (CS)‐coated gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and combination AuNPs–papain (Pap)–folic acid (FA) nanomaterial platforms against Michigan Foundation‐7 (MCF‐7) cell lines. A range methods, including ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), energy‐dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), zeta potential, were used to characterize prepared nanomaterials. AuNPs AuNPs–Pap–FA exhibited UV–Vis absorption at 525 558 nm, respectively. In XRD test, peaks found 32°, 39°, 45°, 65°, 78.5°, AuNPs–CS–Pap–FA identified 29, 37°, 78.5°. SEM revealed irregularly dispensed oval shapes AuNPs. TEM images confirmed shape before after coating Pap FA. The mean diameter was 15 AuNPs–CS–Pap–FA, it 22.5 nm. Acridine orange–ethidium bromide (AO/EB) staining, flow cytometry assay, 2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), vitro hemolysis assays conducted. maximum scavenging observed reaching up 90%. hemolytic rate low concentrations (3.12, 6.25, 12.5 μg mL −1 ) within permissible levels. concentration 100 reduced viability MCF‐7 cells 10% when compared nontreated cells. highest expression caspase‐8 achieved treating line AuNPs–CS–Pap–FA. nanopreparation remarkable holds promise potential candidate further development towards clinical applications an agent.

This review examines recent advancements in nanoparticle-based delivery systems for phytochemicals, focusing on their role overcoming multidrug resistance, improving therapeutic efficacy, and facilitating clinical translation. highlights advances nanoparticle-enabled phytochemical to enhance bioavailability, improve outcomes, enable targeted applications. By comparing various nanoparticle systems, formulation methods, efficacy data, it identifies gaps current research guides the development of more effective, next-generation phytochemical-loaded nanocarriers. A systematic literature published between 2000 2024 was conducted using PubMed, Scopus, Web Science. Articles cancer therapy were included. Compounds such as curcumin, resveratrol, quercetin, epigallocatechin gallate demonstrate enhanced anti-cancer when encapsulated nanoparticles, leading improved increased tumor cell targeting, reduced toxicity. Clinical trials indicate regression fewer adverse effects. Emerging approaches-such nanogels, hybrid combination therapies with immune checkpoint inhibitors-further refine treatment efficacy. Nanoparticle-based significantly potential making them promising candidates safer, effective treatments. However, challenges related regulatory guidelines, scalability, long-term safety must be addressed fully realize potential.

In recent years, there has been an increase in the acceptance of green synthesis as a viable method for producing nanoparticles active materials that can inhibit bacterial resistance to antibiotics. The current study aimed evaluate effect synthesized selenium (SeNPs) using Vaccinium arctostaphylos L. fruit extract on Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), Escherichia coli (E. coli), and Corynebacterium diphtheriae (C. diphtheriae). SeNPs were characterized by Ultraviolet-visible (U-V), Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Zeta Potential (ZP) measurements. Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) Bactericidal (MBC) tested bacteria determined resazurin test, values used basis achieve antibacterial activity test detection viability (live/dead cell percentage) flow cytometry. this study, FESEM assay further shows Se NPs are precisely spherical uniform size (50 ± 1.23 nm) distribution. effectiveness against S. aureus, E. coli, C. diphtheria ranged from zero when MIC value was large (0.5 mg/ml) significant low (0.015625 mg/ml). high percentage death achieved diphtheria, 44.6%, 29.49%, 24.4% respectively. conclusion, V. desirable, safe, environmentally friendly options could be efficient agent prevent infections.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative that causes memory loss and progressive permanent deterioration of cognitive function. The most challenging issue in combating AD its complicated pathogenesis, which includes the deposition amyloid β (Aβ) plaques, intracellular hyperphosphorylated tau protein, neurofibrillary tangles (NFT), etc. Despite rapid advancements mechanistic research drug development for AD, currently developed drugs only improve ability temporarily relieve symptoms but cannot prevent AD. Moreover, blood–brain barrier (BBB) creates huge to delivery brain. Therefore, effective diagnostic tools treatments are urgently needed. In recent years, nanomedicine has provided opportunities overcome challenges limitations associated with traditional diagnostics or treatments. Various types nanoparticles (NPs) play an essential role diagnosis treatment acting as carriers targeting bioavailability across/bypass BBB directly on lesions.
