Ultraviolet (UV) coatings are widely used because of their good performance. However, the self-healing performance UV can be further improved. Microcapsule technology to solve this problem. To investigate effects compound use two coating microcapsules on a fiberboard surface, three kinds primer (1#, 2#, and 3# microcapsules) with different contents were added primer, top was prepared at consistent ratio. The coat surface by way two-primer two-top method. results show that as content increased, rates all groups increased later decreased. color difference ΔE 4.0% 6.0% 3.59, gloss 1.33 GU, reflectance 21.17%, adhesion grade 2, hardness 2H, impact resistance 5, roughness 1.085 μm, rate 30.21%. Compared blank control group, increase in 10.07%, improvement 50.00%. comprehensive better. provide technical reference for application surfaces. Incorporating into applying surfaces supports microcapsule coatings, lays foundation extending service life furniture while improving furniture’s quality, promotes sustainable development industry.

The commonly used ultraviolet ray (UV) curing coatings have the characteristics of fast speed, high hardness, strong abrasion resistance, etc. However, self-healing properties UV after being damaged still need to be improved. The present paper investigates the possibility of replacing traditional L-type corner joint used in chair construction with a 3D printed connector, manufactured using Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) method and black PLA as filament. connector was designed to assemble legs seat rails stretchers, it tested under diagonal tensile compression loads. Its performance compared that mortise-and-tenon joint. Stresses displacements jointed members were analyzed non-linear Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis. Both employed build prototypes made from beech wood (Fagus sylvatica L.). Digital Image Correlation (DIC) analyze vicinity chairs. Seat backrest static load tests carried out order verify if chairs withstand standard loading requirements. Results indicated exhibited equivalent mechanical recorded displacement values 3D-printed connectors higher than those reaching 0.6 mm on X-axis 1.1 Y-axis, without any failures maximum vertical approximately 15 kN applied seat. Coatings can achieve the property of changing color with temperature variations by adding thermochromic microcapsules, which bring a variable surface to substrate. Ultraviolet ray (UV)-cured primers have advantages fast curing rate, low-temperature curing, and low pollution. Thermochromic microcapsules expand application range UV primers. were synthesized through an orthogonal test, using crystal violet lactone, bisphenol A, decanol as core materials in 1:4:50 mass ratio, urea formaldehyde resin wall material. The effects addition batches urea, ratio solution hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) value emulsifier, core-to-wall on yields, encapsulation rates, differences (ΔE), releases during synthesis investigated. results normalized, ΔE primary reference for analysis. indicate that HLB emulsifier was key factor affected microcapsule performance. Urea–formaldehyde resin was used as a wall material and Toddalia asiatica (L.) Lam extract core to prepare urea–formaldehyde resin-coated microcapsules (UFRCTEMs). The effects of UFRCTEM content the mass ratio core-to-wall (Mcore:Mwall) on performance waterborne coatings poplar surfaces were investigated by adding topcoat. Under different Mcore:Mwall microcapsules, increased, glossiness adhesion gradually decreased, color difference value increased. cold liquid resistance, hardness, impact resistance all improved, roughness antibacterial rates against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus both rise, rate slightly higher than that coli. This study experimentally investigated the effects of selected factors on bending moment capacity (BMC) case furniture joints. The main aim was to explore mixed applications wood-based materials and fasteners in manufacturing reduce material costs. examined face member material—particle board (PB), plywood (PL), block (BB)—edge (PB, PL, BB), joint shape (T-shape L-shape) BMC.
