Although cultural, gender‐ sexual orientation‐related differences behaviors are well documented, there relative absence data on PPU outside Western countries among women as sexually‐diverse individuals. We addressed these gaps by (a) validating long short versions Pornography Consumption Scale (PPCS PPCS‐6, respectively) Brief Screen (BPS) (b) measuring risk across diverse populations. Methods Using from pre‐registered Sex Survey [ n = 82 243; mean age (M ) 32.4 years, standard deviation 12.5], study 42 five continents, we evaluated psychometric properties (i.e. factor structure, measurement invariance, reliability) PPCS, BPS examined their associations with relevant correlates (e.g. treatment‐seeking). also compared groups three genders). Results The demonstrated excellent [for example, comparative fit index 0.985, Tucker–Lewis Index 0.981, root square error approximation 0.060 (90% confidence interval 0.059–0.060)] confirmatory analysis, all PPCS’ inter‐factor correlations positive strong ( r s 0.72–0.96).
