<p>The research is aimed at clarifying and comparing the influence of role play project-based learning on development social competence in older preschoolers. The paper presents materials pilot phase study. 30 preschoolers aged 5-6 years (average age 5.8 years) participated experiment. At pre-test children&rsquo;s executive functions were assessed using NEPSY-II subtests ther was SCBE-30 test, which includes scales "Social Competence", "Anxiety-detachment", "Anger-aggression". Further, participants distributed to three experimental conditions so that each group there an equal number with low high levels according cluster analysis. In 12 meetings held accordance developed programs: Free play, Research project, Creative project. Introduction. Play is the leading activity of preschool age, and play with an imaginary situation (pretend play) considered as most significant type for children’s mental development, which allows this to be used in educational process a means teaching developing children.
