Lysinibacillus sphaericus PKA17, Bacillus cereus PKA18 and thuringiensis PKA19, isolated from the intestine of adult indigenous magur (Clarias magur), were evaluated as putative probiotics for cultivation C. fingerlings. A total 180 fingerlings (average weight 4.01 ± 0.01 g) randomly distributed into four dietary groups in triplicate. The cultivated 120 days continuous-flow experimental rectangular cemented tanks (195 × 105 90 cm3; 1600 l; 5 cm bottom mud). Probiotics mixed feed (PT1: 2 106 L. PKA17 cells; PT2: B. PT3: PKA19 cfu/kg basal where, PT = Probiotic treated) fed to different fish. However, control comprises ingredients, was not supplemented with any bacterial isolate. Fish carcass composition revealed significantly (p < 0.05) higher amounts carbohydrate (2.8 0.06 g kg−1), iron (2.21 mg 100 g−1), fat-soluble vitamins amino acid fish PT1 than other groups. also displayed a considerably protein efficiency ratio (2.05 0.01) lower conversion (1.23 0.01). Higher content (164.9 0.23 kg−1) observed PT3 followed by PT2. probiotic-supplemented (PT1, PT2, PT3) showed high-density lipoprotein calcium control-fed High survivability probiotic-feed compared group. results suggest that incorporated these might enhance growth captivity, which may promote this endangered species.

Abiotic stresses, particularly drought, pose a significant threat to global agriculture and affect crop yield quality. Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) have emerged as promising solution for mitigating these stresses enhancing plant resilience. This review explores the role of PGPR in alleviating abiotic stress with special focus on drought. contribute tolerance through various mechanisms, including production phytohormones, such indole-3-acetic acid, enhancement nutrient uptake, modulation responses. These bacteria can improve soil structure, increase water retention, promote synthesis osmoprotectants, which helps plants withstand drought conditions. examines recent advancements our understanding molecular physiological interactions between under stress. highlights how genetic modifications synthetic biology be leveraged enhance efficacy. Furthermore, integration other technologies, nanotechnology biostimulants, has been discussed means improving resistance crops. Challenges deploying PGPR, variability strain effectiveness field application strategies, were also addressed. By synthesizing current knowledge identifying future research directions, this aims provide comprehensive overview employed combat support sustainable agriculture. findings emphasize potential key component integrated management offering pathway resilience ensuring food security face climate change.

Abstract Indonesia is a country with rich array of traditional meals renowned for their health benefits and potential to serve as functional foods, including dadih. Several studies have shown that dadih fermented product from Indonesia, various culinary applications. In addition, it typically produced buffalo milk, which forms an unchanged or broken lump when at room temperature. This also widely consumed by the Minangkabau ethnic group in Central Sumatra (nowadays known provinces West Sumatra, Riau, Kepulauan Jambi), holding significant position practices. Dadih often traditionally processed through spontaneous fermentation bamboo containers without need additional inoculation milk. The indigenous lactic acid bacteria has been evaluated several advantages, immunomodulatory, antioxidant, antimutagenic, hypocholesterolemic, antimicrobial properties, mechanisms. this offers nutritional content, promoting digestive enhancing body’s resilience.
