prompting

review

recent
treatments.

ligament
injuries
are
a
leading
cause
of
lameness
in
horses,
with
significant
economic
implications.
Platelet-rich
plasma
(PRP)
has
gained
attention
for
its
regenerative
potential,
but
efficacy
remains
uncertain
due
to
inconsistent
study
designs
reporting.

Methods:
This
systematic
review,
following
the
PRISMA
guidelines,
evaluated
22
studies
(clinical
experimental)
assess
safety
PRP
treating
equine
tendon
injuries.
The
risk
bias
was
analyzed
using
ROBINS-I
RoB
2.0
tools.

demonstrated
favorable
profile,
no
severe
adverse
effects
reported.
Clinical
outcomes

improved
scores,
ultrasonographic
