MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short, non-coding ribonucleic acids (RNAs) associated with gene expression regulation. Since the discovery of first miRNA in 1993, thousands miRNAs have been studied and they not only physiological processes, but also various diseases such as cancer inflammatory conditions. MiRNAs proven to be significant biomarkers an interesting therapeutic target diseases, including cancer. In acute myeloid leukemia (AML), regarded a welcome addition limited armamentarium, there is vast amount data on their dysregulation. Macrophages innate immune cells, present tissues involved both tissue repair phagocytosis. Based polarization, macrophages can classified into two groups: M1 pro-inflammatory functions M2 anti-inflammatory action. cancer, tumor evasion, metastasis, poor outcome. Several prognosis AML either or macrophage phenotype. paper, we review reported negative prognostic significance focus analyze potential impact polarization.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a hematopoietic disorder characterized by the malignant transformation of bone marrow-derived progenitor cells with extremely short survival. To select optimal treatment options and predict response to therapy, stratification AML patients into risk groups based on genetic factors along clinical characteristics carried out. Despite this thorough approach, therapy disease outcome for particular patient depends several patient- tumor-associated factors. Among these, tumor cell resistance chemotherapeutic agents represents one main obstacles improving survival outcomes in patients. In our study, new prognostic scale detection sensitivity or drugs vitro as well MDR1 mRNA/P-glycoprotein expression, origin (primary secondary), cytogenetic abnormalities, aberrant immunophenotype was developed. This study included 53 diagnosed AML. Patients who received intensive non-intensive induction were analyzed separately. Using correlation, ROC, Cox regression analyses, we show that accordance developed correlates an independent predictive factor overall newly
