The immune response is an intricate system that involves the complex connection of cellular and molecular components, each with distinct functional specialisations. It has a capacity to adjust mould in accordance specific stimuli, influenced by both genetic environmental factors. presence diversity, particularly across different ethnic racial groups, significantly contributes impact incidence diseases, disease susceptibility, autoimmune disorders, cancer risks regions certain populations. Environmental factors, including geography socioeconomic status, further modulate variety responses. These, turn, affect susceptibility infectious diseases development disorders. Down-regulation of Growth arrest-specific 5 (GAS5) is correlated with enhanced cell proliferation and poorer prognosis prostate cancer. We aimed to investigate the effect variant rs145204276 GAS5 on cancer susceptibility clinicopathologic characteristics. In this study, 579 patients who underwent robot-assisted radical prostatectomy healthy controls were included. The frequency allele del compared between evaluate impact tumor correlation clinicopathological variables. results shown that carries genotype ins/del or del/del at SNP showed decreased risk pathological lymph node metastasis disease (OR=0.545, p=0.043) seminal vesicle invasion (OR=0.632, p=0.022) comparing ins/ins. subgroup analysis age, more significant reduction effects noted over (OR=0.426, p=0.032) lymphovascular (OR=0.521, p=0.025). conclusion, polymorphic can predict metastasis. This first study report gene polymorphism prognosis.
